“I have been here hundreds of times over the years... HUNDREDS! My friends and I used to hang out in the parking lot drinking our Ice Coffees 2-3x a week for years lol! This place not only has a DT, but a huge parking lot that is never full. If it ever did start getting full, we always went on our way to make sure others had the ability to park. Do they get your order perfect every time? No lol! But once we started coming frequently, they got it almost perfect each time! We used the DT 97% of the time lol! But if it was cold outside, we did sit inside! As long as there wasn't too much of a crowd! Never really had a bad experience here. We usually tipped decently, so the staff gave us some extra donuts especially later in the evening. They were always friendly. The inside is always pretty clean. Most people don't sit at a DD, they take their stuff and go. All in all a great location. Plenty of parking. They have a DT. They also have a Baskin Robbins inside. If you are in the area, it is a great place to get your coffee and go!“

“Parking: This Cafe is located in a residential area, so the parking is tough. There's only street parking available. This is more of a neighborhood place that people walk to, there's benches outside as well to sit and enjoy your purchases.“

“I went over the weekend to this restaurant following my sister's suggestion. I want to said that she was 100% correct when she claimed that the chicken was the best she had ever had. After trying I can also attest to it, the chicken coupled with crisp veggies and flavorful rice was a good choice. We also tried the sangria and it was pretty good as well.I am planning to come back soon as there are other dishes that I would like to try.At last, the staff was super friendly and willing to please....Kudos to this new neighborhood restaurant!“

“This is a cute dog cafe if you want to bring your dog and have some coffee. Two different entrances to buy coffee and to enter with your dog. People there seem friendly and they have paper towels and spray if your dog pees.However, the place is fairly small. I would say having about 10 small dogs would be enough for them to run around? I was there when 2 big poodles, 1 corgi, and 2 other small dogs and my cavapoo who is about 12lbs. I wish it was a bigger space for them to run around ?Nonetheless, it's a cute space for a quick stop to have your dog have some playtime.“

“Incredibly homey service and atmosphere!! Everything was delicious and very fresh. The dips and platters were absolutely unforgettable, vibrant flavors and amazing balance in taste — not a single complaint first time going! (those lemon potatoes are nothing less than mind blowing) Everything tasted completely authentic and don’t skip on the Greek hot coffee, made over sand and very rich tasting. The deserts also were an extremely satisfying end to a meal, being very rich and delectable. Service was wonderful, giving all customers a friendly and comforting welcome, making everything feel natural and inviting.“

“I love this place! The pastries are soooo delicious but they get sold so quickly, so it’s best to get there early! Their special twist on drinks always turns out great! Their new tea drinks are both so great. The staff are always so welcoming and kind. The vibe inside is so chill, warm, and welcoming. I love that they share their love for the Latino culture, unapologetically. My family and I go there so often, it’s starting to feel like a home away from home lol! We laugh because we travel from the Bronx, sometimes multiple times a week, to enjoy this cafe! Definitely worth a visit!“

“Compass Cafe is a light in the neighborhood, it is set apart. From the outside to the inside you can feel a difference. The workers are so nice and friendly. The options are limitless. They always have great new and fun ideas for every season! It’s fully missioned based…where else can you find that? Compass and Hope are my home!“

There are words of affirmation on their mugs, which was a nice surprise.I had a latte with oat milk and it was refreshing. Seems to be a good place to order some coffee, read a book or get some work done. “I ordered delivery through Uber eats last night and I was definitely impressed with presentation of food.. chirashi was beautifully presented as you can see in the picture and fishes were very fresh.. they could provide bit more rice though.. this is the smallest rice I ever seen in chirashi. Also, I ordered spicy salmon maki but they sent regular salmon maki which wasn't a huge deal but still bit disappointed.“

“What a bright and open space to work in! Their brewed coffee is perfect — strong but not overwhelming or burnt. Also got their vanilla latte which was a perfect combination of milk for coffee. Their teriyaki chicken sandwich was yummy; it wasn’t too dry. Highly recommend!“

“Although the drinks are expensive, they are delicious and each menu item is clearly made with great care.One thing I regret is that Chodang Corn Latte and Shine Musket Ade were on the menu, so I visited three times over two months, but they weren't there every time I visited. It's very spacious, the drinks are delicious, and the employees here are exceptionally cordial.The atmosphere changes depending on the time of day - it's usually relatively quiet earlier in the day, which makes it a great place to work or study. It picks up around 3 p.m., where you can find groups of friends hanging together or playing the board games Coffee Monster has available.The cafe is a clean environment (which includes its bathroom!), reliable WiFi, and plenty of outlets to charge your devices. “I found Java Day Cafe while out in Queens this past Monday. I had a few hours to kill in between meetings and was looking for a cafe to WFH. At the owners recommendation, I ordered The Frenchie, as well as two hash browns (hey don't judge, I was starvin marvin!). The Frenchie consisted of 2 pieces of delicious cinnamon french toast with sausage, egg and cheese nestled inside. I washed it down with a delicious large coffee with almond milk. I chose a table by the window, which had 2 outlets below, so I was able plug away on my laptop and enjoy my food, with no low battery stress. I ended up having three coffees during my stint there and lucky for me, their bathroom was super spacious and clean... love that! All in all, happy to have stumbled upon this awesome Flushing/Auburndale gem!“

“The dessert here is yummy! The mochi taiyaki is a must get. So warm and chewy. The outside kinda reminds me of a croissant. The red bean filling was a surprise. We also got a match shaved ice. While it was shaved ice it was also very creamy when eaten. I would definitely come back for the mochi!“

It is a quite workspace with comfortable seating and free wifi. The coffee is amazing. I've gotten a French vanilla capuchino and it tastes amazing. The froth taste like marshmallow which I love. Eat it in the cafe, don't do delivery.The matcha injeolmi cream latte is coffee with matcha flavor and some soy bean flavor. It is creamy, nutty, with hints of green tea flavor. 8/10. The waitress was lovely and when I looked up for a moment just to take in the beautiful space, a male server stepped over to see if I needed anything. Asked me if I needed lemon or honey with the tea-- that impressed me. Usually you have to ask for everything. “I'll be the dumb upstate tourist who says this eatery is named after Dua Lipa's father! I really enjoyed the savory meat burek, fabulous alternative to pizza. "Burek Oboma" means "burek for the both of them!" Also have a can of Golden Eagle, the soon-to-be famous Kosovo energy drink.“
