Based on the reviews, Caesar Bakery Café is an absolute gem and a hidden gem in the Elmhurst area. This small place is very clean, with delicious food and top service. The owners are incredibly attentive and nice, and the staff is kind, sweet, and hospitable. Everything is always fresh and incredibly tasty, with reasonable prices. The cakes are perfection, including favorites like the cheesecakes, tiramisu cheesecake, and all their tres leches. The carrot cake is a favorite slice, and the crème brûlée is fresh, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The peach cake is also very good. The croissants and muffins are incredible, and the coffee is really good for only $4. For food, the nachos and the tinga quesadilla are both incredible, with fresh corn tortillas. A regular platter with toast, eggs, bacon, and home fries is cheap eats for home cooked food. This place is a must-visit in NYC.
