Everyone was friendly and casual. The waitress and owner took time to speak with us. The Margherita pizza and meatballs appetizer were good. The tomato sauce was excellent.
Awesome Awesome & Two Thumbs Up! 👍🏻👍

Picciotto is a charming Sicilian restaurant serving homemade and fresh cuisine, offering a taste of Italy in Douglaston. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, often featuring live music, creating a cozy and quaint dining experience. The menu presents a variety of dishes, including Napoli pizza, grilled panini, Gamberetti all’aglio, and arancini. The pizzas, made in a brick oven, are known for their crunchy crust and unique flavor, with the Margherita pizza being particularly praised for its authenticity and deliciousness. The service is great, with friendly and attentive staff, including the incredible owner, Alessandro, who is a wonderful host. Guests can enjoy fresh warm bread served at the table, and the cannoli are noted for their freshness. While there may be a slight wait for food, it is worth it, as everything comes out delicious and fresh. Picciotto is a fantastic hidden gem for authentic Italian food and vibes, making it a great choice for a night out.
