Great family restaurant serving all around traditional Korean dishes and bbq. Had Yook Gae Jang and Haemul Pajun. The soup wasn't salty and not too spicy. The Pajun was soooooo good. Crispy, light, pan fried to perfection. All the food, including the bonchon is handmade in house. I heard this place gets completely packed during peak hours, so I made sure to come a little early. It paid off—I got seated right away. Even though the staff were clearly busy, they were incredibly friendly and attentive. They took the time to explain the menu and checked in throughout the meal, which left a great impression.

As an old Korean dude that has been to countless Korean BBQ places, I can confidently recommend Sungbookdong. The service was fast and friendly, the restaurant was clean and spacious, parking was convenient and the food was perfect. I had dinner with six large guys, and we had our fill and then some. The total bill including beers, soju and tip was $100 per head. Very fair and overall a great experience.
