If you're into a classic greasy spoon you'll like this place. My experience was great. The chicken noodle soup was homemade and the burger was hand pounded. The cake was very good too. Quiet county locals in there enjoying their regular meals. I liked it a lot.

The blond waitress didn't take my order correctly and when brought to table we were confused. Trying to understand. She copped an attitude to fix it. I was done. Thanks but not my vibe.

If you want fast friendly service, don’t come here !! After waiting for about 45 minutes for scrambled eggs and toast, I asked how come it’s taking so long?
The response from the broad with the blonde hair, says” it’s busy and this is a small place “ needless to say we paid for our coffee and left , she got a zero tip. She’s one of them C U next Tuesday girls !!
Don’t waste the time or money here , go down the road to the wagon train diner like we did !!

A classic small town old diner with daily homemade specials that will remind you of your parents or grandparents old recipes. In business for almost 90 years and still going strong! This is becoming a favorite stop on my way through the area. The stuffed pepper I had today was huge! Cut in half and took up the whole plate!
Don’t forget to try a piece of their homemade blueberry pie!

Great atmosphere. Great food. Had better which is why I give it 4 stars. Waitresses were Great and friendly. Prices alittle high on some things but not bad, you can always find breakfast cheaper though. Definitely stop by if you want a great diner feel

We stopped off at this diner on the way back from a visit to the Howe Caverns for a VERY late lunch. I was cold and hungry from the spelunking tour, so I ordered a cup of ham and pea soup, and the grilled reuben with potato salad. Our food came out fast and hot, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

The ham and pea soup was a tasty start to the meal and helped get rid of the chill from the cave, but that grilled reuben was the star of the day. I've had many a reuben in my life, but this was the best reuben I've ever tasted, hands-down. The bread was perfectly grilled, the corned beef nice and lean, the amount of dressing and sauerkraut absolute perfection. I swore I'd died and gone to heaven, that reuben was so good. The potato salad was unlike any I'd ever had before with shredded carrots added to the mix, but it was also delicious. I devoured every bite.

If you find yourself in the area, and are looking for a delicious warm meal, served with a smile, definitely give this place a try!

Quaint, historic diner with excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Menu includes diner classics and additional offerings. My husband had a club sandwich, and I had the chicken souvloki, which were both delicious.
