Absolutely went above and beyond. Food was delicious and the service was fabulous. Everyone was still raving about it the next day! Would recommend this place to anyone looking to hold a similar event. Not ridiculously overpriced like most places once the word “wedding” is used. “My husband and I drove an hour and a half for our anniversary dinner and the food was excellent. The service? Not so much. The pad Thai with mock duck was our favorite, the golden bags were also super good. Our waitress never asked if we wanted drinks other than water, we asked. Never asked if we wanted appetizers. The gentleman that ran food seemed to be working very hard, but he brought my husband’s entree out five minutes before mine. No one ever checked in with us. Had to ask for the check. Again, the food was great, and we’d come back again, but wouldn’t make the trip just for it again. As someone in the customer service industry for many years, I get being busy or overwhelmed or whatever, it just wasn’t the best experience.”

“My wife and I visited Abandon Brewing Company on 8/31 to celebrate my 65th birthday. This was our second visit. Great service, great food and drink, a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere, and a beautiful view of Keuka Lake. I wasn't paying attention when I signed the credit card receipt (old people's attention often wanders😊) and mistakenly approved someone else's charge for $80 worth of drinks. I emailed Abandon that night when I discovered the error and Kerry responded immediately. She apologized for the mixup and refunded the entire $80 charge - excellent customer service that seems to be a rarity these days. If you haven't checked out Abandon Brewing Company yet, IMO it's well worth the drive. We'll be returning soon.”

“This is the first winery I had ever gone to. We were staying in Watkins Glenn and wanted to try one of the many wineries in the area. We happened to pick this one because it was fairly close. What luck! It turns out Hazlitt is one of the larger wine producers in the area and the makers of a super famous line of wines called Red Cat. The tasting room was a great experience. The person who led the tasting was very friendly and informative. We liked most of the wines and ended up buying a number of bottles to take along. I highly recommend this winery if you are in the Seneca Lake area. If you aren't from New York, make sure you buy LOTs of bottles before you leave because this wine is almost impossible to find in other states. I had to order some on-line to replenish my stock!”
