First time here. Heard good things so we planned to meet up with my oldest and his wife. Was not disappointed. I had two eggs, scrambled with sausage links, home fries and English muffin. My girlfriend had French toast. I don't remember what the kids had, but they were happy. Our drinks came in cans, which was cool, but not sure if you get free refills. Still, good homestyle cooking with friendly service.
The Railroad Crossing Diner is a gem of a diner on Route 14 in Dundee, NY. They have options for breakfast that I have never seen for starters. The one that caught my husband's and my eye was the garbage omelette! Ham, sausage, bacon, cheese, onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes , spinach and we asked them to throw our corn beef hash in there. Mmmm. My husband requested no mushrooms. I had a 2-egg omelette. Sam (waitress) hustled and was pleasant as she handled the entire dining room alone. Food was on point. Atmosphere is downscale but themed to railroads. A good local choice for eggs. Coffee. Pancakes. Etc.
