Didn't have the first 2 things on the menu we ordered, actually made up an excuse to leave because we sat for 15 minutes and food hadn't even been started. Had eaten breakfast there before it was decent, but this was lunch.
Absolutely beautiful spot for a real American experience. Super friendly staff & good as well as consistent quality of food! This is our 2nd coming back to finger lakes & visiting the diner & this time with family & the people here are ever so warm & friendly
Kraft singles are delicious
These guys will give you a plate of salad with sliced American cheese on top of it
Love this place!

What a cute yet traditional diner! The ladies (staff) were lovely & so friendly! We had a fried chicken sandwich with onion rings and a fish sandwich with fries… Yummy! And the tomatoes on the sandwiches were excellent, fresh and Delicious! Definitely recommend!!!!

Based on previous reviews, we stopped here on our way home from a great weekend at Seneca Lake.. We were greeted and told to grab any open table. There is about 10-12 total tables here plus 5-6 seats at a small bar. 15 minutes go by, no servers came to our table. Another couple sits at the table next to us and a server comes to help them and realizes we have not been helped yet. We were then given coffee and told it would be 20-25 min for food as they were backed up. We decided to wait it out, how long could it really take to cook breakfast… 1 hour later, I finally received my 2 eggs sunny side up, 1 sausage patty and toast. There were a couple of other tables that left without eating after waiting 25 min for their food. In the time we spent there we heard many complaints of the wait, & conditions of the bathrooms. One of the patrons had mentioned that the place changed hands about a month or two ago and much of the original staff has left. I presume it was the owner sitting at one of the tables as he went outside to take down the open flag but did not seem to help expedite any service or food orders while we were there.

I am sad to write this review. Understanding that this restaurant has recently been sold we hope the new owners will consider helpful criticisms. Attending on a Sunday we waited at a table for 30 minutes before we had to ask for a cup of coffee. No waitress was visible to take our order. After another 15 minutes we watched the open sign being taken down. It was obvious the limited staff and cook were overwhelmed. We decided to leave to lessen the burden of yet another order. As loyal patrons we are saddened by the new owners ineptness. Rather than added extended hours you need the reevaluate what you already have and make it right.

Very disappointed in food snd service for a small hometown dinner. Pancakes were great tho. Very expensive breakfast at $40 for 2 people as we ordered the special. Ordered hash browns and received home fries covered with so much garlic salt we couldn't eat them and charged $3.95 for each one. Server never asked about our meal or thanked us for stopping in when we paid our check. Never asked to refill our coffee. Never offered to clear our dishes. Drove an hour away for a bad experience. Will not go again.
