Wow! Dan, the lead sommelier and our server, elevated this meal from a 10/10 to a 100/10. He walked us through each wine pairing with such passion and knowledge, making the entire experience unforgettable. The scallops were unreal, perfectly seared and bursting with flavor. The pear and lemon risotto was one of the most unique and refreshing dishes I’ve had in a long time. Every bite felt intentional and beautifully balanced.

If you’re anywhere near the Finger Lakes, this spot is an absolute must. Incredible food, world-class wine, and service that makes you feel like royalty. We’ll be talking about this meal for years.

We had one of the best meals EVER with family visiting from North Carolina! The food was superb, the service outstanding, the timing of the delicious 4 courses was perfect, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing! (AND THEY ARE OPEN ON MONDAYS! ) If you’ve tried the rest, now try the best! Visit Dean Lane for an amazing dining experience!

Our experience at Dean Lane was wonderful. The setting was beautiful and very unique. We ate in the dining room of a B&B. Enjoyed an excellent four course meal with wine pairing (which is optional). Our dinner was prepared with all of the finest and freshest ingredients and elegantly served. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to return. The restaurant is open Fridays and Mondays. Their menu can be viewed on line and changes daily. They also accommodate dietary requests.

Drive into the woods on their dead end road and discover a great dining experience.
Prix fixe with each course an adventure. Our choices were dense, rich and bold. These were assertive dishes. Mushrooms, beets, halibut, beef and smoked tomato were bossy. Curried carrot, zucchini and saffron tamed the lions. The wines
offered an accent and a pause. They were well paired, locally produced and still told their own story.
The wait staff were graceful and purposeful. You will enjoy a memorable meal.

Lisa and Michael catered our wedding and we’re so happy we chose them. Everything was delicious, everyone had food quickly, and communication through planning and day of was clear and concise. Staff was professional and prompt in every aspect. They went above and beyond our expectations and we are so appreciative. Highly recommend for any catering need!

When we first drove up I was doubtful because this place is in the middle of nowhere but once we walked in I knew it was going to be a great experience and I was right. I’m just so impressed with this restaurant. The food was incredible, the service was amazing and it was a nice ambiance. To be honest the food was some of the best I’ve ever had. This chef could work in a Michelin restaurant.

One of the most unique and delicious meals I have ever had. The service was impeccable and every attention to detail was met. The calamari salad the duck was so delicious, that we wanted more and ended with an incredible peanut butter pretzel tarte! Can’t wait to visit again!

This was an amazing meal. All four courses were great, the fish was so fresh and perfectly cooked, the raw scallops were a treat, the sausage was so flavorful I almost got the vegetarian option but am so glad I didn’t! They have all finger lakes wine, we didn’t have any but it looked like everyone was enjoying it.

The vibe was so cool and chill, highly recommend.

Unique experience in a unique setting. Certainly not a place you might stumble across as it is located literally in the 'middle of nowhere'. Adds to the overall 'culinary journey'.
Wine pairings offer an opportunity to sample some locally sourced products you might otherwise not be aware of but do add significantly to the bill.Kudos for locally sourcing almost everything on the menu.

Only minor issue was that the steak was served medium well. Would have much preferred medium to medium rare. Still very tender and moist - just a believer that a good steak should be served no more than a medium cook. Swiss chard bedding added an interesting element that we enjoyed.

Strawberry cheesecake was a standout with a lighter density and a fresh bright flavor .
Scallops were fantastic and the whipped feta appetizer was her favorite.

Very worth the drive out into the country for this! Don't be concerned about how deep in the bush this place is.. it's worth it! They are accommodating of food intolerances and the dinner here is well-priced when you consider how fresh and well-paired the flavours are. Desserts were both very good - couldn't pick a favourite.

Dean Lane dining is a rare find! It excels in every way a restaurant possibly could: a warm welcome from co-owner Lisa; a beautiful interior with views of lush green lawn and trees; perfectly paced and friendly service; and of course, exquisite food. One of my main criteria when spending money to eat out is that the food is at least equal to — but hopefully better — than food my husband and I cook at home. I also prefer food at restaurants to be different than what we would make at home. Dean Lane met and surpassed these expectations. The prix fixe menu was made up of four courses with two choices per course, one of which was vegetarian. Each course was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor and texture. A great selection of wines as well as an optional wine pairing option to accompany the meal were offered. They also have cocktails and non-alcoholic selections. I honestly can’t think of the last time I’ve had such a perfect meal out.

Really cute spot with amazing food! We also got a wine pairing. The restaurant is really cute with an outdoor seating area as well surrounded by greenery. The food was amazing and at such a fair price! Service was amazing too. Would definitely go back if we visit the area again!
