We stayed here on our mini moon. The finger lakes is beautiful.
This hotel had a beautiful view and great balcony.
The location is perfect close to main attractions.
Unfortunately the breakfast is so-so.
Worst wineries I have ever visited. Right off as you are greeted by the interrogation officer AKA hostes. And totally ignored by staff and then rushed through your tasting save your money and vist Herman Weimar winery
Would recommend the chocolate and wine tasting experience. Many unique flavours and great pairings. Gotta love wine country.
Michelle and Michelle were great 😎
We visited the Glenora Wine Cellars tasting room today. We have stayed at the Inn frequently and have visited the tasting room numerous times. Our experience today was embarrassing and the worst we have ever had. The young woman who was taking care of us was lovely and very pleasant. We are staying at the Inn with another couple who were there because of us. My friend commented that a sparkling wine was flat and asked me to taste it. She was correct and I verbalized agreement. The young woman apologized and quickly opened a new bottle and gave my friend another taste stating that it was flat because it had been open awhile and wanted her to get a taste of the fresh wine. We got nearly to the end of the tasting and I tasted a dry rose’ . There was a very small amount in the bottle when she poured it. I commented that I didn’t get a lot of taste from the wine and asked if that was a frequent comment. I had been complimentary about all the other wines I tasted. Another young woman named Abby who works there and had just arrived came back at me loudly and embarrassingly. She loudly stated that she strongly disagreed with me and that the wine had won many awards and that the reason was because of its flavorful taste.., she seemed to go on and on. I was both angry and embarrassed and said bluntly, “ Well thanks for correcting me.” I wanted her to know I was offended. My husband was angry, too and wanted to immediately leave because of her behavior. I said we should stay and taste the last wine. The woman knew I was upset and stood there with a big smile on her face making me feel
like she was laughing at me… I should nite that the nice young girl that was waiting on us told us earlier that she had been there since noon and we were her first tasting. After her coworker’s behavior I can see why. We had planned to buy wine, but after that interaction with Abby, my husband just wanted to leave. Neither of us plan on ever returning.., We are not even sure we want to stay at the Inn again. Abby’s behavior was totally out of line. I merely voiced an opinion and asked if it was a common one to the girl who was waiting on us. Abby had no business nor reason to insert herself into the conversation and insult me.
Stopped last Wednesday. very quiet on a weekday late in the season. Very friendly and helpful staff and enjoyable wines. Definitely recommended
Had a chocolate and wine pairing the price point was reasonable. The poring of the wine was not even an ounce! We were given no information about why the wines were an appropriate pairing. Each truffle could be paired with 2 wines but given no information as to why these were ideal pairing exact you could choose a sweet wine or dry. Our hostess had no knowledge of basic grape knowledge never mind pairing. For instance when I asked about the Cabernet Grapes in The finger lakes region she told me that Cabernet Sauvignon is a cold weather grape and does phenomenally well in this region. When asked is she meant Cab Franc she doubled down and told me both do well. I am usually uncomfortable giving poor review to a company but I must say Glendora may want to educate their staff
Had a great time and great tasting! Shout out to Noah the server!
Very bad customer service and they don’t make you feel welcome.
My husband and I were able to do a wine tasting and educational class on glassware through the VIP experience offered through the Lakeside Trolley service. This is the oldest winery in the area and it was a beautiful place! The staff was so welcoming and friendly! We got to do a private experience where we learned the importance of glassware and how it either positively or negatively impacts wine! It was so informative and I highly recommend everyone doing it so they can learn about it too! Beautiful view of Seneca Lake too!

I for one love this place! I am not a dry wine person but my husband swears by their yellow taxi cab, I myself adore all of their fruit wines. Even if you don’t like wine, visit for a slushie, or to just look at the view. The view of the lake is immaculate. I also love that the lady at the tasting counter had a few mins of time and she went out of her way to find my size in one of the shirts I really liked. I will always come back here. 10/10 amazing!
They had so many wines to choose from and the 5 we tasted were all good but the Blueberry was probably the best I have had anywhere! I would HIGHLY recommend getting this if you like sweet wines. The view of the lake was a bonus! It was amazing! The only reason I didn't give this winery a five was the girl that waited on us didn't have much of a personality as when she was doing her spiel about each wine she barely made eye contact with us and it was on to the next one.
The views are the best in the area
The place is ok. It’s very old and kind of run down. The bar was closed all weekend for weddings. Food was ok and service was sub-par. Had 3 big beetle bugs in our bathroom …. No smart tv and just regular channels … screen door doesn’t even lock. Shower very small. Water smells bad. Air conditioner smells like it’s dirty. Mediocre offerings for breakfast. Felt like we were in a basement with how dark the downstairs was. Really not a fan, wont be returning.
We held our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner here on Thursday and the experience from beginning to end was off the charts amazing! Kathy was very responsive and great to work with. Absolutely went above and beyond. Food was delicious and the service was fabulous. Everyone was still raving about it the next day! Would recommend this place to anyone looking to hold a similar event. Not ridiculously overpriced like most places once the word “wedding” is used. And did I mention how beautiful the views are from the dining room and patio area?!? 10 out of 10!! Thank you to Glenora’s Veraisons staff!!
