“The ice cream was quite good! Soft serve and good ole Perry's hard in SuperHero for the wee one. The walk up service was efficient and helpers were working as a team. I was impressed by the tip jar writing- in this time of tip burnout- where it said on the mason jar tips appreciated, not expected. The hot fudge sundae we three tried was hands above Anderson's (where roast beef is specialty). Pautler's is a terrific family fast food place with a great casual atmosphere - seating to suit any family: indoors, or outdoors at a bistro setting or picnic tables around a huge playground. The playground was far enough away for screaming kids to delight without interfering with diners. It would be a good place for young families with kids to meet up and where everyone would leave happy.“

“So my gf and I visited Country Cottage for the first time last night as we were celebrating 30 yrs together and we heard a lot about this place and decided to try it.When we got there we did have to wait a few minutes to be seated as they were busy and the waitress wanted to sit us at a clean table- not a bad thing!I got turkey soup and than chicken and biscuit dinner and my gf got the Rubin and fries dinner.The food was absolutely fantastic!My gf said it was the best Rubin she had had and my soup and dinner was so good!Thank You Country Cottage for making our 30 yr anniversary dinner not only special but so good!“

“My family came here looking for a place to eat and this ended up being a sleeper hit! This is basically an Applebee's but obviously way better! The food was very good. I could not believe the portion sizes though. With the prices they charge for the food, it's basically a steal. I honestly wish there were Tully's back downstate. Definitely worth bringing your family and friends to!“

“I just read the review about an elderly man that frequents the restaurant and the staff taking advantage of him. That is completely FALSE! That is a terrible way to express your opinion! I am also a longtime customer, I know Jim and he gives money to the staff. I have witnessed the staff refuse this money and he threw an absolute fit! Caused a scene in the restaurant and yelled its HIS money and he will do what he pleases with it. He comes in almost daily AND the girls have called his daughter to make her aware of this.As far as his dementia, why would you all let him drive to the restaurant twice a day? I myself am here almost everyday and sometimes sit with him. He is a funny and wonderful man. He loves the staff and hugs all of them before he leaves. And myself.So your review is distasteful and wrong. Gets your facts straight before you try and ruin a business!“

“Excellent service, fantastic food, and very accommodating. My order was the special of the day "Smash Burger Eggs Benedict" the kitchen was able to substitute the Hawaiian roll with lettuce and tomato slices. It was delicious ?Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating and happily will sub out potatoes for tomatoes at no additional charge.“

“Food and service have always been good. Family-friendly atmosphere. My family and i have celebrated quite a few birthdays here, and everyone has been quite accommodating. Wait-staff is always willing to help out grabbing a couple of group shots. Thank God! I guarantee we will return.“

“It's been a Long time since I've eaten here. My family and I decided to go on a Friday night for a fish fry! They were huge and I was told they were really good. I myself got the Mediterranean salad! Not only was it delicious but the portion of salad and the amount of ingredients was huge and the price was very reasonable. Tonight we got take out there! Very good! Guess we'll be eating some leftovers tomorrow!“

“We came in for breakfast after being told 1 hour plus waits everywhere else. We came in, sat ourselves and was greeted within seconds. We placed our order, and had hot food on the table in 15 minutes. The food was also delicious. We are glad to have found this diner as we will be back!Kid-friendliness: High chairs available, they were cautious and courteous of the toddler and baby we had with us.“

“Bacon and cheese omelet was very good, only wish they had cheddar cheese. Very clean interior. Timely ordering, receiving, refilling coffee, and take-away of plates. Some prior reviews not so good, but appears to have been corrected. My elderly mother really enjoyed her experience there.“

“Went here to eat with a friend for breakfast was more than satisfied with the service and the food. Has that old school diner feel which makes it even better. I will be back with the family and the prices are very reasonable! The only issue we had was that we paid $1 extra for fresh strawberries and they were clearly frozen then thawed. Other than that it’s been a great experience every time we visit“

“It was our very first time here, we had a little wait for our table and that was fine by us as we were not in a hurry, I ordered the chicken tenders dinner and my husband got the fish fry, we got an appetizer of chicken wing dip and 2 adult beverages called the Gatorade (which were amazing). I will say hands down some of the best food we ever had. We recommend the chicken wing dip 10,000 times over. And they don't lie they were the best chicken tenders in the world. I couldn't finish it all and had to take some home.. the atmosphere is very family friendly. I love the fact they make a lot of their stuff fresh, the only down side I had was the honey mustard dip didn't taste much like honey mustard, but horseradish. But that's okay it was still good. We definitely will be back, but with the whole family.“
