My favorite bakery hands down. The cheesecake is to die for. There are so many flavors to choose from and they are all delicious. The hits don’t stop there though, the thumbprint cookies are superb along with a bunch of other baked goods. Highly recommend if you’re living or passing through Amherst. (Also just tried the seasonal pumpkin bar and it was phenomenal.)

I love getting myself sweet, bakery treats for the weekend and looking to switch up from my regular spots, I came across Genevieve's Cheesecakes & Bake Shop. Happy to say I have a new shop to add into my sweets/bakery treat rotation!Arriving around 1:30pm on a Saturday, I easily found a parking spot right at the entrance. The parking lot itself is generally large as this shop is next to a few other businesses, kind of like a strip-mall. I walked in and was greeted by a young man - He was conscientious and friendly. I was in awe at the case of mini cheesecakes with a wide variety of flavors, as well as a case full of cookies, pie slices, and other sweet treats. I wish they had labels for each of the items though as I had to keep asking the young man what each cheesecake was. I grabbed two mini-cheesecakes and was on my way home in little-to-no-time. I will say, the price for each was on the high side, but saying that, they were excellent! There was a sign on the case indicating that they had to temporarily raise the price of their mini-cheesecakes, so hopefully they can lower the price back to normal soon.I ended up grabbing a Nutella mini (4")-cheesecake and an Oreo mini (4")-cheesecake. Both of them were phenomenal! Dense and flavorful exactly like I think a cheesecake should be. The Oreo mini-cheesecake had an Oreo crust and the Nutella mini-cheesecake had a graham cracker crust. Of the two, I liked the Nutella flavor just a smidge more, plus the design on top was pretty. Both had a nice presentation.For my first time at Genevieve's Cheesecakes & Bake Shop, I had a great experience! The staff were friendly and the cheesecakes satisfied exactly what I was craving! I will definitely return to try more cheesecakes and maybe grab a slice of their Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookie pie.

Delicious, creamy-dreamy cheesecake! Not a dry, baked style cheesecake. Also had great prices! I got several small cheesecakes and the blueberry and Oreo flavors were the favorites.

With fast and friendly service I ordered the Turtle and strawberry shortcake, which is only around for a limited time I was told.They were both moist, creamy and so delicious, I can't wait for a return visit.The flavors they have are so unique like pineapple, pumpkin,pistachio, butter pecan,espresso, sponge candy, peach cobbler, banana split ,apple cider donut,loganberry and nutella just to mention a few.They also sell pies, brownies, cookies ,cannoi and sweet breads.
With speedy service and a smile, i ordered the seasonal strawberry shortcake and the Turtle Cheesecake.Omg, both were amazing, the strawberries were so fresh and both were so creamy. They also sell cookies, brownies, cakes and pie.The cheesecakes come in such amazing flavors as banana split, Sponge Candy, apple cider donut, coconut cream, banana foster, oreo, Creamsicle, loganberry , cannoli and pumpkin to name a few, I can't wait to come back and try them all.

The cheesecake is fabulous! There are so many flavors to choose from and they sell other desserts also in their very cute store. The owners are very accommodating and easy to talk to. I will be back and I highly recommend them and their desserts.

I bought these desserts for my family, which they enjoyed. Me on the other hand did not. I ordered the key lime cheesecake, which tastes absolutely nothing like key lime! It's just regular cheesecake with a green swirl, very disappointed in terms of expected flavor. While I did not eat my cheesecake, my family ate their desserts. Also, service was friendly and was very inexpensive.
