Decided since it was a Friday, we would get a Fish Fry. We settled on Rock Kitchen as where we would go. They don't have an online reservation system so I had to call to make a reservation. We took advantage of their early bird Fish Fry special. The Fish and the Cole Slaw were good but the fries were too greasy for my taste. It is served with a house made dipping sauce for the fries. I didn't care for the flavor of this mayonnaise based sauce but others seemed to enjoy it. Maybe if we came l later so that the french fry oil had more time to get hot, everything would have been worth a 5 star rating.

After driving by this place many times, we finally decided to stop. First Friday of Lent, and there was quite a crowd with looked like most people ordering their fish fry. That's what we were there for. We were seated quickly, and after placing our drink orders, we decided to grab a bowl of fresh popcorn (self-serve) to munch on while waiting for our food. Our food came pretty quick. There was a huge piece of perfectly cooked fish. The cole slaw was just the way I like it, not overly dressed and not too sweet. The fries are served with a special house dipping sauce. Not sure of all the ingredients but I think there was ketchup, mayo, hot sauce, and tasty spices. I did think the fries were a bit greasy but the rest of the meal was great. We'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu. 2024-8

We love this place. The food is excellent (especially the chicken wing soup!) and the staff has always been amazing. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. The prices are reasonable as well.

Took some out of town guests here for dinner. The waitress was friendly and ensured we were well taken care of. The portions were very generous and tasted wonderful. I had the Cajun burger medium rare it was cooked just the way I like it. The other meals were enjoyed by my guests and we all walked away satisfied with the atmosphere and food, as well as the cost.
We finally got around to checking this place out last week because we wanted to try something new with my mother in law. We were seated at a big table in an enclave so it almost felt like having a private room. There were a lot of fun seasonal drinks to choose from. I wish the almond joy was dressed up with some chocolate syrup, but it was good. Not great like similar drinks elsewhere, but good. The chocolate martini was better, but I really wanted to get my chocolate and coconut fix in the same drink. My husband raved about the lasagna. One son enjoyed his wings. The other enjoyed his chicken tenders. I forget what my MIL had, but she really liked it. I think the calamari was corn dusted. I prefer flour, but that's a matter of personal preference. The batter on the bang bang shrimp tasted like fried chicken somehow. I liked the sweet and spicy chili sauce, though. Next time I'll try a burger instead. Service was great.

We stopped here during the of the summer as part of our patio preview on a weekday afternoon We each had a burger and fries. The service was great and the good was pretty good. They have a large selection of burgers from classics to BBQ burgers. Everything was quite fresh. They had some great hand cut seasoned French fries. I enjoyed the ambiance, mainly because they had televisions hanging and you could watch sports or whatever. But the actual scenery is just the rocky parking lot. There is nothing that makes you feel like you are getting away ... I am a person who loves a great view ... I'd love to see them enhance the experience this spring and perhaps add more greenery around if possible.

This was my first time here with my family and we loved it! My mother had the Reuben, I had the French Dip and my husband had the tenders. Omg the food was phenomenal and the server was awesome! We will definitely be returning.
