Had a good time at trivia!
This is by far one of my top 10 favorite breweries within the Buffalo/Rochester area. The Asylum porter and also the borderlands ipa are incredible and full of flavor. Their food menu from fat bobs bbq is small but really good. The slider sampler is always my go-to. Highly suggest stopping here if you love craft beer.
Good beer and nice outdoor seating.
Looks like every 2010s brewery, beer is good
Hand down the best brewery in buffalo
Lots of beer choices and a great atmosphere. Tried the St Patrick's Day taco special with corn beef and cabbage. It was surprisingly very good. Got a laugh out of the whimsical use of beer kegs in the men's room.
💕Won a gift card and some gear at a cancer fundraiser at Holiday Valley! 🙌 thank you for putting into our community and for making a difference. Enjoy top notch beer and fantastic meal. Your bar tender Bob was extremely welcoming and perfect representation of the heart of the company. Explaining how 42 North brewing company owners care about not just the community but the staff. Blessed to have this opportunity 42 we will be back!!!!

overly spacious log cabin brewery vibe. the crowd is mixed mostly young professionals, and the bar is huge. there has been live music when i have visited but not typically. indoors honestly would make for a great steak house if they had a full kitchen. but its just finger foods. and the tables are widely spaced out, not a cozy welcoming environment. pro: my favorite beer their oatmeal raisin cookie brown ale and that alone keeps me coming back. the beer garden is a unique touch with the huge gravel pit and Adirondack chairs to chat with friends. huge parking lot. con: indoor brewery feels cold and isolating, maybe ok for a private date... the bar staff don't seem to have any particular knowledge on the crafts. it seems to miss the point without a kitchen.

My wife and I make trips to East Aurora often and these visits are usually concluded with a stop at the 42 North brewery, home of our favorite Lagers, Ales, Porters and Stouts. ( my personal favorite is the Borderland IPA, my wife's is the Asylem Porter) The food (provided by Fat Bobs BBQ) is excellent and perfect accompanment the wide selection of brews available. I also make the trek to the brewery on my way back from The Guitar Factory in Orchard Park to pick up new and seasonal specialties not always available at my local beer store. The bartenders are courteous and knowledgable and they make a FINE Manhattan as well.
I usually get Whole Farm Nachos (My Favorite) or Smoked wings. I also have had the Breadhive Pretzels and Slider Trio
We were there 10/5/2024 for a pub crawl. Morgan, our bartender, took so much time with us helping pick the perfect beer. You’re lucky to have him. We sure did get a high five!
It's time that this fad ends, Fat Bob's is a so so food option. A disappointment ?.
Probably the worst bar in East Aurora. The beer is terrible. The food is the only reason for the one star. Save your money ,and go somewhere else.
Depth and variety of styles, thought is put into the brews they craft. The BBQ is solid, and the sauces are unique takes on the tradition. Try the Mac n Cheese, I know people say that in every restaurant, and I hate that too when the Mac is avg, but the 42 North Mac is stupendous, great texture, each noodle strung with Cheese, not just soaked in velvetta like other places. Great job ?
