The owner assured me she wasn’t, but I’m pretty confident she was racially profiling my family. Never again!
We drive from Lockport, New York for their Sesame batard bread it is so Good!
Yesterday I tried one of their Caprese sandwiches on a baguette, and oh my goodness it's the best!!
Too bad we live so far, but I dissected the sandwich and I'm definitely gonna try to make my own!? Oh, and I absolutely love the atmosphere. I will definitely be back before winter hits.
Some of the best baked goods and coffee I’ve ever had (with a huge selection)!

Wow! What a great place! Delicious food including breakfast pizza and bacon Asiago scones...try the sticky buns if they have them.
We went twice on different days and they had different pastries and breads both days.
Superb coffee and drink options, and wonderful, polite and exceedingly friendly staff.
We loved it!

When you have that lunch time slump, grab a smash burger with bacon and that will fix everything!

Elm Street Bakery is my favorite place to get espresso coffee and breakfast. They have exquisite baked items on display to choose from! I love their breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon, arugula, and spicy mayo between fresh sourdough slices! They specialize in brick oven breads! Brick oven pizza too. Wonderful choices with fresh flavors from local farms! Friendly staff! Very clean and lots of seating downstairs, upper level and alfresco!
Vegetarian options: Salads and some soups. Menu changes periodically.
Dietary restrictions: Be sure to tell the staff when ordering and they will do their best to accommodate!
Parking: This is a busy place so sometimes parking is limited and others ample. Their is parking behind the entrance with backdoor entrance as well as limited street parking.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: First floor is wheelchair accessible.
Recommended dishes: Cookies, Wood Fired Pizza, Bakery Box, Cinnamon Roll
All, we love all of their baked goods, especially the sourdough. I just wish it was open a little longer

Every time I come & visit Buffalo, I make it a point to come to one of my favorite bakeries in the area. Amazing food, the best customer service & the atmosphere is just so relaxing!

My husband and I stopped here for some coffee and a baked good while we were driving through the area and were very happy we did. Our lattes were delicious and the service was excellent! It was a very busy Saturday afternoon but that didn’t stop them from providing exceptional service! We were very pleased and impressed with our experience here today!

Absolutely the best bread ever! Actually, we’ve never had bad anything here, whether it’s bread, pastry, coffee, pizza, or other entrees. Outstanding service and staff, beautiful location, just an all around home run.
Dietary restrictions: Elm street does have a selection of gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan offerings!

As a local, I am at ESB at least 3 days a week and there's a reason for it! I truly love all the staff members, especially the barista, Steven. The owner, Kim, is lovely as well!
The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The food is simple, yet delicious.
I recommend the Angry Jay pizza with an iced raspberry tea. Cheers! :)
