Picture waking down Main Street of a Hallmark movie and finding a Gastropub called Griffon with two well appointed rooms on a pub and the other a tall boothed dinning room with a sprinkling indoor fountain. The lacquered floors and tables shone and the menu was extensive. Our server was knowledgeable and pretty….the Bahn Mi Nachos (fried wonton chips) were a creative twist. On tap Rootbeer, local brews and fun mocktails rounded out the pub. Lots of gluten free options! ...

The only reason my food got only 3 stars may be my own fault. I ordered the Griffin burger , basically a build your own burger. Ordered it with bacon and smoked gouda. It came with lettuce, tomato and onion strings. It may say on the menu that it was served that way, had I read it. I would have asked for none of that. The other 3 mealsnin our group were well liked , smoked gouda and shells, Vietnamese pulled pork a the crispy chicken samdwhich

Menu is weird but they really do pull it off well. Everything was excellent even though it sort of feels like you’re eating in a 1300s dungeon. Would be a good first date spot and hey it’s so dark that if you get catfished you can’t really see your date anyways.
