Our recent visit to celebrate my aunt's 60th birthday has been on my mind all weekend.. It’s not every day you stumble upon a place that has awesome food, gorgeous atmosphere, and EXCELLENT customer service. Thanks to the ridiculously genuine warmth of the owner and server’s- I'm pretty sure they're secretly saints or something. The kids in our crew were so excited to meet and play with the bar dog Chevron and felt like they were part of the cool kids club, (when who I believe to be the owners) allowed them to play darts when I was like, "Uh, I don't know if that's such a great idea🙅🏼♀️..." But instead of giving us the side-eye..He just laughed and was like "Hey, let's make it interesting - who wants to bet on their game 😂?" - Talk about a major win.. They just simply let the kids be kids.. and unfortunately that sometimes very hard to find. If you're on the hunt for a spot that's all about family, community, and food that's the soo delicious, stop looking - This is definitely the spot!

First off let me say I have had multiple great experiences and meals here. I grew up in the hill towns and have always loved Maple. That being said, tonight I went with my fiancé and my mother and we were sat down immediately and after 30 mins of nobody even coming around to take our drink orders, I happen to notice 4 waitresses just standing against the wall staring around standing by the kitchen. After 40 mins of still no waiter or waitress coming to our table, we got up and left. People who were seated after us had their drink orders and appetizers ordered right away while we just sat there. Terrible experience and sad to say they have probably ruined me ever going back there. Which is sad because we have always loved that place. Hopefully they do better in the future and maybe I will be back at a later date but this experience really ruined this place for me. Do better Maple on the Lake!

15 miles is just a short distance to travel for their Sauerbraten. The fish is excellent too.

We only had coffee and dessert. The desserts were delicious. They were out of carrot cake though. I was sad. Lol. We sat on the d deck with a view of the lake. A good time

I thought I got there early at 5:45 on Saturday evening and the parking area across from the restaurant was quite full, then I thought oh boy there's going to be a line to get in, but that was not the case. Walked right in.put my name in for a table and in 15 minutes I had a seat outside overlooking the lake. Ordered prime rib ,as it was the special on Fri and Saturday night's.. our orders came pretty quickly the food was great no complaints . Getting there early seemed to be the right thing to do because they do try and close up around 9:00 p.m. and get the banana cream pie for dessert it was delicious.I will definitely be back again.
Wonderful view of the lake. Can host many people comfortably. Prime rib special was disappointing. Very little flavor. Salad bar come with select meals.
