I went there on a belated valentines with a close acquaintance and was received with welcoming atmosphere good service and delightful colorful people from the Catskills My friend kept bragging about the steaks but we were there at brunch so we ended up having open top sliders and French onion soup salad which was so tasty and delicious. If ever you're in Greene County Catskills . Please stop by and say hello to these folks ... Thumbs up ..for sure .

Just a great place to eat. The food is very good! You get what you pay for. The prices are good. They could charge more and they don't. They were even open Christmas Day for a great brunch(2024). The owner and the workers are as good as the food. Just wish I lived closer. Schoharie could use a restaurant like this

The only small issue was the food took a long time...and we were starving lol. But it was well worth the wait we have the sliders, half chicken, and onion soup. The sliders weren't overcooked and we'll seasoned, the soup was milder than french onion but had alot of flavor. The chicken was tender and the vegetables weren't bland like most restaurants. Def recommend!
This place is a true gem. Beautiful meticulously manicured grounds, outstanding food and service, super friendly staff and owner, and very reasonably priced. Doesn’t get any better than this!!

Food was meh I have allergies so like usual we just ask the waiter to talk to the chef. I wanted to order the homemade chicken tenders. We were then informed that the homemade chicken tenders were pre packaged which is strange for homemade chicken tenders. Also the waiter said she just recommended a salad and tried to move on to the next order before checking with me. I then asked for a burger with no bun as she was POSITIVE that since it wasn’t gluten free it wasn’t dairy free. So I got a bun less burger with sautéed onions that were not cooked and a burger that I was not asked how I wanted it cooked. My uncle who was fast to order got asked about his. Overall very annoyed. This is very saddening to me as I had come here a couple years having a completely different experience.

I am from out of town and was recommended this location by family.
With a party of 8 for a stay lasting almost 2 hours we had some issues. We waited approx 25 min just for water to be brought out, we weren't given the proper silverware/dishware when our appetizers were delivered, and we had to ask several times for napkins, sauces, and additional silverware.
As for the food we got the Half Chicken, Chicken Francese, NY Sirloin, Mac n Cheese, Shepard's Pie, and Wings. The chicken dishes tasted bland and could've used more seasoning. Meanwhile, the steaks were well done even though we had asked for medium rare. However it wasn't all disappointing . The Shepard's Pie, Mac n Cheese, and Wings were good!
But, it just didn't match the glowing testimony my family had given the place. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night, but for first impressions it wasn't great.

Had the Furlong Burger, with their special bacon, blue cheese, pickle, tomato, red onion. Outstanding burger. My first time there, visiting friends upstate. Like it so much, I paid the Bill. $162. FIVE people eatting. Great Irish atmosphere. The blue cheese was the ingredient that pushed it over the top. Had the onion rings instead of fries. Delicious.
