saw the ad and wanted to see if it was another chef reading off a standard recipe developed by someone else. was absolutely thrilled to find a menu done with care and experience. had the jerk chicken and was Fabolous. wife had shrimp and grits and loved it. home made cheese cake with an awesome presentation. staff was attentive from the moment we walked in till we left. hope new items keep coming to the menu, as locals, we need a decent well run restaurant. thanks
The Freehold House is a beautiful new restaurant with friendly service and tasty food. Guests have praised the amazing dishes, including the fresh wedge salad with bleu cheese dressing, the delicious crab cake sammie, and the perfectly made braised short rib with grits. Although there may be some wait times as the staff gets up and running, the effort is worthwhile. Overall, it has quickly become a welcomed addition to the neighborhood.
