Great 'home cooked' food... if your mom is from the south and the best cook in the block. Good comfort food, well prepared, in a homey atmosphere. Probably not great for low carb, low cholesterol, low sodium, or vegan diets.

Great food at great prices, with a nice little country store to shop at after your meal. Staff was very friendly! Checkers boards and chess for kids to play while parents shop. You should check this place out!!

The experience was horrible today. 3 people for breakfast. Got seated quickly. No waitress for 10 minutes. When we finally got service, we ordered our food. When we did get out food all of it was not hot. My niece ordered biscuits and gravy. Got the food, got the gravy 15 minutes later. My wife ordered a steak and eggs thing that was supposed to have vegetables with it. They brought the food out with out the vegetables, then the waitress did bring out onions that didn't come with the meal, then 10 minutes later they brought out the tomatoes and veggies that were supposed to go with it. As for my meal, I got 3 eggs over medium, bacon and white toast. All of it was cold. Absolutely horrible food and service.

Classic farm stand with much more. The best cider donuts in the region. Always great service.
I have not tries a y of the food offerings, but the aroma coming from the kitchen is heavenly.

Everybody kind of knows what cracker barrel's all about but you got to love that it's convenient. I do like their take-home for $6 dinners as of fall 2025

We go to Cracker a few times a year.
Because for us it a drive to go to one.
So it is a big treat for our family.
We where looking forward to this one.
Only to find no county Fried chicken.
Because no one can fix the machine.
And it's been Breaken for some time.
I mean couple mounths.
When we finally did order witch take about 1/2 hour. For what ever reason.
Others around us received there food in a reasonable time but not us.
We did receive drinks in a reasonable time.
No butter rolls no corn rolls.
After about a nother 45 min finally received
Dinner. The Portions where so small but Fit for a squirrel. We where so disappointed in everything all around.
The floors and Window sills dirty.
Plus amount of money we Spent in food a tip. Makes me sad how far they have declined.
Looking around us during dinner.
I did notice most every one eating burgers
And fries. Didn't know it became a burger
Place. Not an old family dinner.
Once more so disappointing.
Hope that they get back to old fashioned
Values.

The food was superb. Properly prepared well cooked very well presented. However Cracker barrel is struggling. This is not the fault of anyone at East greenbush they are kind caring and dedicated. Due to the failures of corporate leadership they do not have adequate staffing. In the Glory Days of cracker barrel your coffee cup would never be empty while you were waiting for their hot delicious meal. However all the wait staff is so stretched thin that they're taken care of too many people at once. At the same time corporate has cut back on things like bathroom cleanliness it looks like someone got murdered in the men's room.
Without busboys plates and things day on the tables longer than they should. Corporate needs to really bring more resources to support this location

Never got to eat there, said kitchen was backed up, couldn't give us an idea of when we would be seated.

I do not care for their new menu. It's more like bar food not meals. Not much of a choice... Each dish is about the same... Just disappointed

If you like antique and old country style, this is the place. Go on, have a good brunch and just eye shop around. It’s fun.

The waitress was nice nothing against her. The greeter sat all the black people in one section in the front by the door. All the white ppl sat near the windows. It was so weird my mom always had bad experiences with feeling they were racist going in other states. I begged her to go cause I love their steak bites. I couldn't believe my eyes as she brought it to my attention how they sat us and each time someone came in she watched and pointed out where they were sat by color. Couldn't believe my eyes that at this day and age it was still happening. Will never ever again support this establishment and any others no matter the state, town or location. The biscuits were ok but the cornbread was disgusting it had zero bit of sweetness all cornbread is sweet it tasted like it had salt in it beyond gross.

Kia. who waited on us, was fantastic! She works her butt off to make sure that everyone has what they need while she bussed other tables. A+ effort.
