We've passed by the Greenbush Inn off Rt. 4 many times because we thought it was a raucous biker bar; so not true! We recently met friends there and had a great time drinking and eating a wide variety of delicious pub food. We also discovered that we like their pizza. Yes, there's a full bar but most of the space inside is filled with tables and chairs for socializing and dining. It's clean and comfortable with friendly wait staff. We'll definitely be back.
Check this place out! As a business traveler, this is the kind of bar I like to spend my evening. Erin the Bartender was friendly and served my drinks when empty. The people on the other side were friendly. Good barroom conversations. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries which came out hot and tasty. Although I didn't have any, the pizza looked very good. Also, prices were good! I recommend and will be back if and when I return to the area.
Good food and service and pub style menu with specials and their specialty of wood fired barbecue entrees. Many local people shy away from this restaurant due to some of it's long gone previous owners, but it was remodeled and reborn as a great local restaurant and bar. They also have a very nice outdoor masonry patio with a large canopy overhead. Occasionally offer karaoke and live music.
