My family, friends, and I are constantly pleased with Nic's! The restaurant itself is immaculate. No exaggeration, probably the cleanest restaurant I have ever eaten in. I have dined at Nic's probably around 20 times, and I have never had a bad meal. All food is fresh and prepared daily right in the kitchen. We are fortunate to have a place like Nic's here in East Greenbush. The owners are hands-on, and it shows in every aspect of the business. Thanks again for a great meal.

Great place to eat!! The food is always good and the service is impeccable! The only downside is the noise level which of course depends on when there are larger groups. Overall, it is always a great experience!

Food and service were good. Only side comment is that were at a high top which we requested which allowed for little room when packaging up food. We had appetizer, entrees and desert. With a carafe of water and a bottle of wine on the table it would have been nice if our leftovers were packaged by the waitress away from the table. Other then that we had a pleasurable experience.

Food was fair, we waited a while for our dishes. I had the fusilla, brussel sprouts and pancetta in Parm creme. There wasn't half of a sprout in there...and the pancetta were a few sprinkling of bits, simular to bacon bits. The parm cream had no flavor. So, won't be getting that again. The whipped ricotta appetizer was good. The scallops were seared on one side served with garlic on top of pasta. Desserts were best part. Cheesecake with walnut and sauce and moonlight night is vanilla Gelato and warm brownie. The serving size is not shareable as it is small. They do a good job of rotating out their entrees during the year.

This was our first time in. Our family moved very close by about a year and a half ago. This place is great! The food is fresh. My wife and I split a salad and ordered each a pizza. We should have split the small salad and shared a pizza. So the value for the quality is more than fair. The cocktails, ambiance and service were all really good. We highly recommend.
the food was absolutely horrible. The server never came back to even ask if our food was ok for us to even make a second decision. The sauce tasted canned for the chicken parm, and the pizza crust was so soggy the cheese didn’t even stick to it. Every server and/or busser was too busy cleaning to leave right at close, instead of taking care of guests that made a reservation. If you need to be out that early, then don’t allow reservations that late.

The food looked like it was for children, and the only noise you heard in the place was that of the servers cleaning. No desire to come back and check to see if we liked our food or wanted something different. If you're in such a rush to be out early, don't allow 745 reservations on a holiday week.

The whipped ricotta appetizer, as well as the calamari and rice balls are our favorites. The chicken Parmesan, with the homemade pasta is outstanding. And don't even get me started on those homemade brick oven. Pizzas! Outstanding!

Great new restaurant, contemporary Italian, wood fired pizza, fresh pasta, friendly and attentive service.
All employees were pleasant and helpful. We had the meatball appetizer. veal parmigiano, the futility, brussels, & pancetta. Everything was delicious and served hot and ready to enjoy. It's not the quietest place but we were able to have a nice conversation at the table. We will definitely be back.
