Went here for breakfast during our trip to the Hamptons. The food is good and so is the coffee. My coffee came after I got my food so the service is a bit slow. If you sit outside beware you may get swarmed by bees. I had a nice experience here and loved the huevos rancheros but don't go if you are in a rush!

We only come for breakfast or brunch, and the food is always pretty solid. But the service is consistently slow. Ask for coffee, could take 15 Minutes and 3 asks. And in the later summer and early fall the yellow jackets are EVERYWHERE. They laudably don't kill insects, but if you sit outside at the cafe tables you get literally swarmed. Just not worth it to me. Finally, the prices are ridiculously steep for breakfast food, even for East Hampton. So if you have time, and you don't see any flying Hymenoptera, might be worth a shot. For me? Going to pass from now on.

Way Overpriced and not really worth it. The food was good but the price of a club sandwich being $24.99 should at least mean you won’t have flies circling around you inside while you eat. The waiter was nice, but this was just not a great experience because of the price and the noise inside.

Beware of this place, after eating a pretty good meal, you will probably have to go inside to find your waiter, when you find your waiter.. they hand write the checks and often add $30 to the total. Check your check! Most east Hampton goers will just pay without noticing the nice addition to their $39 omelet.

No clue why this restaurant has 2.5 stars. We got seated right away, the food for brunch was perfect, good service. Yeah it was a little expensive but that's to be expected in that area. It was really good!

We stumbled upon this excellent restaurant in East Hampton and what a marvelous find! The food was outstanding. The cod fish avocado wrap had the most delicious cod I have ever eaten. It was accompanied by a fresh green salad w a light vinaigrette. All of the vegetables tasted like they had just come from the garden. My husband had the chicken club sandwich and it was also excellent. Very tender and delicious greens. One of the very best he has ever eaten. The service was also excellent and the rest room was sparkling clean. This is not a place you want to miss

"Clean Foods, Best Restaurant"When looking for a place in East Hamptons that can satisfy your pallet, look no further than this place. Whether you are Vegan, Vegetarian, Meat lover, or just a farm to table brunch this is a MUST visit place. The proprietor is warm/friendly and makes you feel welcome. A very relaxed, no rush lively atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. For cuisine, the Salmon Burger on a Gluten Free roll was the best I have had in years. The bread well, that's a whole other review, but let's just say, Delicious!

This was the first place we ate last year in midst of COVID and didn't know if it was our brunch experience or the thrill of not cooking that made it so great; we've been back twice since for brunch and once for dinner and cannot say enough. Personal, attentive service and excellent food.
Food and service was ok, nothing extraordinary. Tried to charge us for beverages that we didn’t even order.

Thought the food was delicious. The menu offers a range of items and many of them are healthy. The service was attentive and the ambience fine for lunch or brunch. Not sure why the reviews aren't better for Babette's. Even the two star ones say the food is good. They do appear to be written during covid - I mean, cmon. That was a tough time for restaurants. This is a good casual place in town. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
