Bostwick's Chowder House

Wow. Gotta go back.new favorite local restaurant. Wait was 15 minutes ish. Generous portions. Taco, fish and chips were served hot straight from fryer to table. Tasty rum punch. Both times 😉. competitively priced.

Let me start by saying that this is a small place and very noisy! Also, for such a high-end restaurant they use plastic cups and plastic silverware. Trying to dig into a lobster with a plastic fork was nuts. However, the service was great and the food was amazing!!!!

Awesome fluke sandwich with onion rings. YUM. Cold Blue Moon with orange slice. Nice umbrellad table outside. What's not to like?

Very enjoyable.

Busy but the team works hard to ready the tables and service is quick once you get seated. Lobster roll is excellent. The lobster bisque has significant lumps of crab!

Easy causal atmosphere with tasty seafood and good prices. Would come back for sure.

Great food and service in this little place. Had the clam chowder and the soft crab po' boy that was on lunch special. The soup was hot and full of flavor good size for an appetizer. The lunch special was a soft crab po'boy the sandwich size was a very nice portion the crab was fried with just enough breading and was so soft. Price is very reasonable for the quality of food.

We had an excellent meal at Bostwick’s. Everything we ordered was delicious, and our server was really accommodating and had great recommendations. Would recommend the flounder platter, clam strips, oysters, key lime pie, and soft serve! We’ll definitely be back! Dog friendly if you sit on the outdoor patio.

Chowder was great, fish was fresh, everything was hot and crisp to order. Staff is incredibly friendly but the key lime pie is the main takeaway. Ordered a slice and ended up taking home a whole pie.

Roasted Oysters were wonderful. They have Sancerre by the glass although they serve in plastic cups but it tastes the same. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Clam Chowder was not hearty so I would try the corn chowder next. I will come back to try their entrees. They have outside seating. Very attentive service.

The best lobster bisque

My fiancé ordered Buffalo wings. I ordered the Greek chicken rice bowl. His meal was better than mine. Literally no flavor in the rice bowl. The plastic utensils, kitchenware, and plastic cups were very funny.

This is not a tourist trap. It is for locals to eat good food at a reasonable price. The wings and fish and chips were spot on. The only suggestion is a little less buffalo sauce on the wings!
