We came here a couple weeks ago while on vacation. First, keep in mind that despite the menu and prices, this is not a fancy place and most of their utensils and plates are of the disposable variety. We're from Maryland, so we don't care as we have places like this everywhere, but others might. The food was pretty good. New England Clam Chowder was excellent, but I didn't like the stuffed clams at all. Nice portion, but all I could taste was herbs, and not a blend...

This was our first visit to Bostwick's Chowder House. My favorite soup is lobster bisque. I asked the waiter about the lobster bisque. He said, they make it"in house"- and that I would not be disappointed. Well... I wasn't! I can say positively that the LB at Bostwick's was the best I ever had. I got the LB- as a bread bowl.
