Very beautiful bakery. Croissants felt a bit old around noon but were pretty good.

I love the size and flavor of the smoked Turkey Sandwich but the almond croissant isn't my favorite

While the food and coffee is good, the service is poor and overall experience is unnecessarily complicated. We were yoyo-d around to different lines and ultimately seated in the back garden. Once there we were told we couldn't sit there with our food/beverages which were in takeout containers. We were then ushered to the communal dining area and told that we had to give back all our food and drinks so they could be plated (i.e. throwing out all of the plastic which completely defeats the purpose). Despite other people eating at the communal table in plastic to go containers and asking if we could just eat our pastry quickly, we were told we would have to leave if we didn't accept having everything changed over to glassware. I understand in theory, but in reality this made no sense and was an incredibly complex / frustrating and LONG process for no reason. The older brunette lady /manager could have let us sit there for 5 minutes after being dragged around the entire restaurant and told different things by different people. Unfortunately will not be back.

I love Carissa's bread and the outdoor garden at this location is lovely for a brunch time gathering. Glad there are a few vegan options but would love to see some vegan pastries and the otherwise vegan sandwiches to be made with a different bread than milk bread (they won't substitute which is frustrating). That being said the grain bowl was delicious and the avocado toast without cheese is always very tasty. Good coffee and plant-milk options too!

I had to go and write this review after the terrible experience I had here. When you walk in the entire restaurant is so chaotic with the cafe not being separated from the sit down dining. Small portions (I got an avocado toast that was 1/3 the size of an average avocado toast) and very overpriced. Not to the mention the staff was extremely rude (my friend tried to order and they could not accommodate his food allergies because the food was premade and when we sat down together the staff said he was not able to sit because he didn’t order food) and the entire dining experience was chaotic. Will not go back.

A nice venue, very clean, friendly staff. Their homemade chocolate sorbet is the VERY BEST ICE CREAM I’ve ever had! I I’ll definitely be back. Too bad you don’t have a spot in NYC!

A dreamy outdoor garden and deliciously elevated breakfast classics made this the perfect meal.

Carissa has good food and some truly delicious pastries, but unfortunately the service is extremely disappointing. There’s a woman who seems to be either the manager or the owner, and her attitude comes across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. A lot of people had warned me about the service here, but I still wanted to give it a chance. Sadly, I had the same experience, and I won’t be coming back. It’s a shame because the place has so much potential to be a warm, inviting spot, but the lack of hospitality really takes away from it. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it.

Great food. The pastries are the best part personally. Drinks and sandwiches are also really good. They have different things every day but normally stick to a schedule and repeat products. It can get really busy, so the workers are trying to keep the line moving. I recommend not standing in line if you have no idea what you want, you're just slowing the line down and making the workers frustrated. Nice patio for seating with a lot of shade. Great prices for great quality. I recommend coming to this Carissa's instead of the one in East Hampton, because everything is baked here.

obviously not sure how to run a business if they're simply kicking out people for eating only a pastry & coffee at a table... shouldnt buy anything from here cause you wont be allowed to sit & eat unless you spend what they want you to spend!

I was enjoying a pastry and everything was going really well until I was asked to move by one of the workers. There was no one else around so why did they have to move me? Was it because she didn't like how I ate?
