Goldberg's Famous Bagels

i always get tofu cream cheese and tomato and lettuce on a whole wheat bagel and it was great here

Goldbergs has become a true staple of east hampton. It has been a neighborhood name for at least the past 10-15 years. This particular location has high quality bagels and sandwiches and is certainly recommended, but it is a high volume establishment and wait times can be significant at peak times

my bagel was great but it gave me food poisoning for 3 days. still love goldbergs tho. just be wary of the lox. p.s. i also got food poisoning from the white fish 3 yrs ago :(. but it was still yummy.

Our Go-To Deli at The Hamptons - Efficient and Friendly Service - One Cozy Long Shared Table Available if Eating In - Fresh and Delicious Bagels - Faves includes their Everything Bagel with Olive Cream Cheese, and, their “Famous” HOBO and Bridgehampton Sandwiches - Outstanding was their Lentil Soup on this visit!

Lox were flavorless. Prices so inconsistent with all the Goldbergs for exact same item. Drives me crazy. What’s $19 in EH is $15 in SH and $17 in WHB.

What happened to this once stellar establishment?! It has slowly been declining these past couple of years. I keep going back with the hope that it would go back to being what it was but unfortunately it’s just getting worse. I normally do not write reviews but today did it for me! What an awful experience I had! Since when do employees have the right to treat a loyal and respectful customer with distasteful and unprofessional behavior? From the moment I placed my order til the very end this specific employee was incredibly rude - no manners whatsoever! Very sad but I’m done! Not going back anymore and it’s a shame because they do have good food, but not worth it if I am going to be treated badly.

Very chaotic in here. But same bagel quality and taste. The counter people have a system which seems to work and I can appreciate it.

Something about these toasted bagels with creme cheese.

Very crowded. Couldnt see the line from the main road unlike other locations. Mostly teenagers.
Took a while to place our order. I guess we could have chosen the designated bagel only line. Waiting for our order involved a lot of crowd shuffleing. Waiting area and order area are seemingly the same place. So we moved around from spot to spot just to wait for our number to be called. Is it chaotic, i guess. Should i care, no.
Lay out is different.
Ice coffees arent self serve but have to order at the counter.
The bagels.
Smells good from the unwrapping.
The bagel has a healthy amount of poppy seeds. Good amount of scallions in the very creamy cheese. The bagel is toasted just right. Crispy where it needs to be on the outside, softer on the inside.
Certainly worth the wait.

No plain bagels at noon on a Tuesday during the season.

Bagel sandwich was good. It wasn't busy but took a while to get the food. If it was busy I could see how it would be a zoo. Bagel Sandwich was worth the wait.

A year ago I went to Goldberg Bagels in Westhampton and they overcharged my credit card 60.00 on a large order thinking that I wouldn’t notice. I took a year off from them and went back today thinking that it was just a one time thing, but guess what? The wife overcharged me 30.00 to my credit card and was upset when I caught her. After asking for an itemized receipt she said we don’t do that and rolled her eyes at me. After confronting her to ask why the order came out to such a high price she told us to not come back if it bothered me so much. Craig and his wife are stealing at the register for most orders they ring in.
At their prices they can’t be honest to the customers that support their little business.
The cash register is a fake that doesn’t record anything and when asked for an itemized receipt they can’t and won’t give one.
What a bunch of clowns.
