The manager showcased a masterclass in bad service with her “my way or the Highway” attitude, which is a shame because food was fantastic. The manager cleared the paper table cloth unannounced and we all scrambled to pick up everything off the table. The candle knocked over onto one of our party in the process and got hot wax on their hand. To their defense they brought us some first aid supplies, but when we complained about how ridiculous what happened was the manager got defensive and said that is what they always do… we won’t be coming back.

One of the elite restaurants in the Hamptons, Highway never disappoints. The vibe is eclectic yet fun on a busy night. The menu is always inventive and absolutely delicious. A nice wine list is accompanied by a creative cocktail menu. The service is excellent but always a touch cool to the touch in our experience. The bar is a nice oasis away from the general seating and well worth a visit should you miss a reservation window.

The stir fry didn't have much chicken although they charged premium price for it.

A perfect meal. Chicken is classic but worth venturing out. Everything is outstanding.

We had a bad service experience. Waited 1 hour for our main meal. I can understand one bad night with the kitchen or service. But, the food was very disappointing. The Focaccia sticks were bland, fried extruded dough that were as unappealing to eat and as to look at. Our mains were average.

Food was terrible. Wonton soup had no filling and was so salty it was hard to swallow. Balsam Farm salad was tasteless. Avoid.

We are local and really wanted this restaurant to be great but the food is very plain. We found ourselves wondering how it earned such a high rating.

It took nearly 25 min just to get our drink order taken. The trend continued throughout the meal. They unironically tried to pass off Chardonnay as champagne, and every entree arrived overcooked. The place feels like an old Hillstone with a HomeGoods makeover. I didn’t think it was possible to be more mediocre than the rest of the restaurants in the area, but I was proven wrong. Overpay elsewhere .
