I loved this place for its food, the service they gave me and the suggestions for choosing my food, it was a little difficult to find it but we got there ???? I definitely recommend the Torched Wagyu roll and the chicken gyoza ?????

Superb food. Great little setting and vibe. Highly recommend.
Great new spot in the village with lots of options available. Prices are reasonable for the area (and they have a range of price points) - we sat outside and had great service. Food was fresh and creative. Thankful for another food option in the area that isn't absurdly expensive!

As the unofficial mayor of East Hampton- being a business owner of over 21 years and as a born&bred city kid in the Hamptons…. it’s been a while since I put up a new review but what they’ve got going on this little aly is the best kept secret in town. You’ll see lines here for years to come, but for now it’s the top-secret sushi in the middle of the village of East Hampton - for me, great vegan options, for everyone a creative and fun menu as you can come to expect from the legend of Sag Harbor’s Sushi Sen. What a delight! (Orange fried Tofu for the win!)

I am not sure you can call this a proper Japanese restaurant. I ordered a sushi roll that only has 5 small pieces but is priced at $18, it only has some minced tuna and a single shrimp tempura in it. Not even an americanized sushi dish, kind of a disgrace to any restaurant that would serve food of this quality. We also order a chicken ramen, the portion was fine, but for a bowl of ramen at $23 you would expect the meat to be tender and flavorful, which it wasnt. Would not come back again.

Kumiso is a gem! The vegan ramen is rich in flavors and comforting, while their matcha soba makes a light and refreshing meal on a hot day. Highly recommend!

The rice on the nigiri was not washed, eating it was like eating a mouthful of mushy chalk. There was no salt or vinegar on the rice and it was also overcooked, the pork bao bun was very bland, there was no seasoning at all and the bao was packed with lettuce. The ramen saved the whole meal, the broth is incredible and the texture of the noodles was amazing. The waitress was super understanding, tried a piece of nigiri for herself and immediately took it away from our bill. The restaurant is located in an alleyway and there is a horrible smelling trash can about 15 feet from where we are eating outside. The waitress was very understanding

Not impressed with my take out order. Not sure if you could call that a salad. I feel robbed $20 for what looks like the left overs from a $5 fruit salad. This is what it looked like straight from the store. Make sure you check your order prior to leaving

Do not eat here. It's rare that I write a bad review but their attention to customer service and allergies is unfortunately non-existent. The ramen I ordered was advertised as GF but WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE the rice noodles were replaced with gluten noodles "because they were out". The server showed up 5-10 minutes after we dug into our food in a bit of a panic asking if we had any allergies at the table. While I'm not celiac, I have a doctor recommendation after several major GI issues not to eat gluten so needless to say I'm pretty unhappy. All this after waiting 30+ minutes for our food on a slow night and they charged us full price despite their mistake. :(

Food and service were wonderful! Highly recommend and will return. Most of all, it was like an oasis in otherwise overcrowded Hamptons summer. One person in our party was vegan and there were ample options for them - they really enjoyed the menu items that they chose.

A++ all around. From the hostess securing us a last minute table on the Friday of 4th of July wknd (no less), to the service (constant attention to H2O refills and plates coming out as they were ready) to the delicious inventive beverages (If you want spicy, go for the Samari!) to the delectable food (we ordered everything with tuna - incredible! - plus the Udon Carbonara - bellisimo!), our experience was hands-down an 11. Well Done & pats on the back to everyone who makes Kumiso the top-notch culinary experience that it is. The Secret is Now Out!

I had dinner with my son and husband and we all got extremely sick as soon as we got home . We were vomiting and had diarrhea and and continue to be sick the next day. We reached out to the restaurant and told them and they have been completely not responsive. Avoid this restaurant!
