We enjoyed being at a new place - must needed. The food was great and the service really friendly and helpful.
I must first admit that after reading the reviews we were a but skeptical about making reservations, but we decided to give it a try. We had the branzino and lamb chops which were both fresh and delicious. We both said we had absolutely no complaints, but the “very pricey” reviews were definitely exactly “ on the money” $$$$$. But again everything else NO COMPLAINTS!!!
The food was very good and the amounts of food were acceptable not overly generous. Everything was very overpriced by a minimum of 25 percent. Adding insult to injury, after overcharging for the food, they added a service charge for using my credit card. They need to reduce prices by at least 25 percent and eliminate the credit card service charge for me to return.
Delicious dinner with great service! Staff was extremely attentive and accommodating. Hope to be back soon!
Food was exceptionally delicious Service impeccable. One of our best meals of the summer !!!!
The food was delicious! I had lamb stew which was perfect. I tasted several other mains and like them all. The prices were VERY high. I know its East Hampton, but 2 bottles wine, 2 sahred appetizers, and 4 mains was $405 before tip, or about $200 per person! Seemed very high.

My wife and I loved our experience here. The staff was excellent. The food was excellent. A fun later evening crowd. Great ambiance. I highly recommend it if you're in East Hampton.
Meat tasted “old”. Not spoiled, but definitely not high quality. Judging by how empty the place was, word is already out that this place is sub par.
Went last night to el Turco to celebrate my anniversary and it did not disappoint. The waitstaff was super friendly and had several different dishes. These were my favorite ...Panchanga Borek ( warm appetizer), Ali Nazik (main dish) and Semolina Halvah with ice cream (dessert). Also, the rice pudding was exceptional. It was a bit pricey but what place isn't out here. The decor could have used more of Mediterranean touch than Miami. Overall, I say...it was a delightful and the food was delicious! Fun atmosphere! Will go again!!! Great for large groups

El Turco is a great new Mediterrenean hot spot in the Hamptons. Great decor and space that is accompanied by delicious food and drinks. We tried the kopoglu sauteed shrimp and the pastrami hummus for our apps which were all super fresh and great. Main courses we had to try the branzino and their specialty El Turco kebab, both dishes were excellent. The service was very attentive and our server Christian was amazing.
Great place, but the prices are ridiculous. I don't think is okay to steal people when they are drunk. Be careful inside.
The outdoor courtyard was lovely. Filled with flowers and fresh herbs, comfortable seating and relaxed vibe. Servers were friendly, helpful with ordering and seemed joyful. It was a special night and we ordered several mezes, warm appetizer (pastrami hummus) and shared the large grilled mixed meats. Wonderful spicing and flavors. If we lived in EH (or even on the eastern seaboard) we'd go back again next week.
We chose to sit outdoors on the patio, which has been tastefully decorated and was comfortable with an exotic flair. The only drawback, is that it adjoins Three Mile Harbor Rd, and cars, as well as motorcycles could be heard zooming by. The wait-staff were extremely pleasant, accommodating and helpful and Ali, the owner, a charming, friendly and handsome Turk, stopped by to chat with diners and made every effort to acquaint us with his goals in opening this restaurant in East Hampton. The food, sadly, left much to be desired, since we were both vegetarian/vegan and our choices were limited to some of the mezze (small starter plates - we chose 3 and I was disappointed with all of them); the best part of the meal, a wonderful salad with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, onion etc. and feta cheese. We mentioned this to Ali, and he said he was aware of the fact that there is not a single main course suitable for vegetarians or vegans...but that he was working to fix that. A semolina dessert that we shared, was OK...nothing to write home about. I would gladly try El Turco again, but only if there are some improvements on the menu...which is a bit pricey, all things considered.
El Turco is a great addition to the East Hampton lineup of restaurants...fresh cuisine, wonderful staff and a breath of fresh air. The outside seating in the summer is terrific and you could be somewhere else completely....like the beach in Turkey! Recommend the calamari, the beet hummus, the lamb chops, the baklava, the Turkish "meatballs" which art more like sausages. Everything we had was delicious. We went with a friend who used to live in Turkey, and she said the food was very genuine and excellently prepared.
