We come to Stanley bakery because people suggested it. We went and the 2 young girls working behind the counter on Saturday afternoon were more interested in talk to each other and couldn't be bothered to ask us if we needed help. When one of them was waiting on us they still carried on their conversation. Very poor customer service. We got the rainbow cookies that were not that good as well as a small lobster tail with cannoli cream that was too sweet and threw it away. I don't think I would go back there and would not suggest it to others. Really need to train staff better on customer service skills.

I have been going to Stanley's for 50+ years for jelly and cream donuts. The donuts I got last week were so disappointing! They were worse than Dunkin Donuts! I could tell as soon as I picked the cream donut up that it was much too light! Usually when you pick up a Stanley's donut, you can tell right away based on the weight that they are going to be overfilled with cream. This donut was so light! And when I bit into it, I didn't bite into any cream! If you know Stanley's donuts, you know it is basically impossible to bite into one and not bite into cream. What a disappointment! It only had a dab of cream in the entire donut! So I tried the jelly donut and I was equally disappointed. As soon as picked it up and I could tell it was much too light. Bit into it and no jelly. Stanley's should be ashamed of themselves! Maybe they had a newbie filling the donuts. I am going to give them one more shot and if I get the same mediocre donuts, I am going to have to find a new bakery. Get your act together, Stanley's!

I usually do not go to Stanley’s being that I don’t think their baked goods are anything extraordinary. However, I was in a rush and going in that direction to a party. Went in for a holiday tray of cookies. I asked an older woman how much the rainbow cookie platter was and she didn’t know off hand, she had to walk over to the register from the other end of the counter and look it up. She could’ve just asked someone next to her. Mind you, it’s Christmas time and there were dozens of the same cookie platters laid out with no price tag. You should probably know how much they are. I almost passed out when she told me a pound and a half of rainbow cookies was $35. Was the jam made from berries you harvested? There were maybe 10 small rainbow cookies on that platter. I felt robbed and now another reason why I don’t shop there.

I come here everyday Tuesday for breakfast. Honestly the best bacon egg and cheese on Long Island. I would definitely recommend getting it on their homemade rolls. We also recently got a cake for a party and everyone agreed it was one of the best they have ever had. Definitely getting all my cakes here from now on.
