We have eaten here several times .The hostess who greet you kind & friendly.The waiters or waitress are delightful friendly & helpful took our pictures was our anniversary.Can't say enough about this restaurant been here a very long time must be doing something special to keep its customers
Second time this restaurant gives diners check assuming they are paying with credit card, essentially extra charge. We had to ask for another check, since we were paying cash. Be careful when you dine there.
Only a quarter of the tables at Jake's were occupied during our meal, but the service was slow and inattentive. We had to ask for a wine menu and it took 15 minutes to arrive. We weren't asked if we wanted coffee with dessert and the waitress did not come back after the busboy served it. I ordered the Braised Short Ribs and they were over cooked and dry. The price of our wine on the bill was $2 per glass more than on the wine list, not including the surcharge for credit...
