Grew up on Long Island. Left 20 years ago. Came back to visit some friends and we went to La Novella. The owners, the waitress and the food were all just fantastic! And I have been to many restaurants. The next time I visit Long Island this will the place I dine. Thank you so much for your hospitality, warmness, great food and service! ?
The food was fine, nothing spectacular. The atmosphere was hot, meaning the food never got cold because the establishment was roasting the paterners. We asked the staff to increase the air conditioning, but it appeared to get even warmer. I kind of felt like a sardine in a can.
We had an excellent experience in the garden room for our niece’s first holy communion. The whole celebration was excellent, the staff positive and helpful through out. The food was good standard Italian served for large parties, fresh ingredients and well seasoned. The bathrooms remained clean and well stocked through out the event.
Parking: Plenty of street parking for any over flow from events.
