I've gone here several times to buy fish and even recommended to my mother. Today I was going to buy 1.5lbs of fish and noticed she cut a much larger piece (closer to 2lbs) than what I wanted and I wouldn't be able to finish it which would be a waste of food and money. She got annoyed that I brought that up and said "if you are not satisfied then you can go somewhere else." I was completely shocked she spoke to me that way and walked out. I remember my mom telling me to same words she said to her but I didn't believe her. The older woman who works there is horrible if it doesn't go her way so buyer beware!! She just lost 2 customers!

The place is very clean, but the lady was very rude. I asked if they had catfish, she told me it was a waste of energy asking to not ask that question. I'll just go to another fish market or Stew Leonard's across the street.

I have been going to these nice people since the day they first opened...after reading comments here I understand clearly that most customers in the 21st century are extremely selfish and privileged! Amazing how some of the comments here say "I did nothing wrong and they were rude to me". The fact that most people don't know the meaning of the word today, it's no wonder they believe they did nothing wrong. Sea food, especially theirs, is a "NATURAL PRODUCT", meaning not made by man...you cannot control the size of a natural product, so asking for the same size scallops is a bit ridiculous. All of his sea and bay scallops are very close in size. I know because I buy them all the time!. And so you and all customers who walk thru their doors should know, this man arrives at the Bronx fish market every morning by 3am...rain, snow or shine. He then proceeds to buy only the freshest quality fish for his customers...he is hyper aware of market prices. He will inform his customers so they have a clear understanding about fish and market price. Every morning he buys fresh WHOLE FISH, drives back to east meadow and spends the entire morning making the most perfect, bone free super fresh filets you can find anywhere!. He and his wife work 12 hours a day 6 days a week. Very often they eat and sleep there simply because they, like me, aren't 25 yrs old anymore. Their ONLY CONCERN is providing the highest quality and freshest seafood available ANYWHERE. Other fish markets keep their seafood several days by spraying it down at night with saline solution. They buy only what they will sell THAT DAY!.. So my advice to the petty complainers here..if you can find a higher quality seafood, then by all means, buy it, but until you've walked a mile in these lovely people's shoes, stop with the petty comments!

Sea 2 U offers the freshest and highest quality seafood in the area. Period. Friendly Asian couple running the place are fantastic. Our fam's personal faves are the salmon filet, branzino and dry scallops. I'm a long time customer; so glad they're still in our nabe!
Terrible customer service I went in asked the lady if they had whole tilapia she said no no and that no one in East meadow carry that (are you kidding me) I should go somewhere else, I then asked for another fish she then said no one is here to clean it I asked so what’s the best time I should come back for someone to clean it she said she don’t know when or what day someone will be there. I will never go there back.

We’ve been coming here for 3 years now because we always feel the product is good. This time I sent my husband to get the fish and I always FaceTime cause I want to see what do they have as they sell out all the time. The female owner got angry with my husband for FaceTiming me and told him this is a public place he can’t be back on forth and on the phone with his mother or wife which I was in the phone I didn’t not respond because we are better than that. But today they lost our business for being extremely rude and on top of that a white customer came in and she gladly helped him get his items. It is not right to speak to your customers like that for walking back and forth in a EMPTY store!
