Best breakfast sandwiches around! I originally reviewed them with 5 stars, but it’s quickly gone back down to 1 star because almost every time I call to order a breakfast sandwich during their posted hours of operation, no one answers the phone. It happened again today and I thought, “okay, maybe they’re just busy” and I drove all the way down to their restaurant just to find they are completely closed. What a waste of time and gas!!! Zero consistency in service. I’m done. Their sandwiches are fantastic! But the hassle trying to get one during their posted open hours when they actually aren’t there at all isn’t worth it!! Too frustrating!!

We have been buying cookies and pastries at the Bee's Knees for a while. Since we love the pastries and cookies here we decided to order cupcakes for our son's graduation party. When westopped in to pick up our order, the owner had forgotten to fill the order. When I reminded her of our phone conversation she admitted she remembered the conversation but must have lost the order. She apologized but didn't even bother to provide us with some alternatives to help salvage our dessert for our party or maybe offer us something to keep a loyal customer for the long haul. Thankfully we were able to call the local grocery store who set aside some cupcakes for us. Sorry Bee's Knees, you lost our order and our business along with it.

I've been waiting about two years to get up to this place and try something- anything! I asked for a recommendation and ended up with a sticky bun. This thing is one of the best baked goods I've ever tried, and I can honestly say that this bakery really is The Bees Knees!! Great food AND great service!

What a great little small town bakery. They make a variety of items they rotate thru the days they are open. Keep in mind sometimes they have a limited supply, but what they have has never disappointed. Just stopped in and tried the flaky raspberry puff pastry danish. Wow..fresh berries and a cream cheese filling with a super crispy puff pastry. Worth the ride for that alone, the chocolate chip cookies are amazing (not overly sweet like the big chain cookie places) they are just right, really buttery and homemade flavor and the fresh baked breads sell out quick so don't wait. I had the olive bread last time, so very good.

Hope they can scale these recipes and grow! Go early!

Amazing little bakery for a custom order. My friend and I dreamed up a delicious spread of strawberry shortcake inspired cupcakes, key lime cheesecake, and raspberry pie for a birthday party and Julie made our dreams come true! All our guests were delighted and impressed with the sweets. The price-point is very reasonable for the high-quality made-to-order goodies. Nice egg & cheese sandwiches or muffins for mornings when you need a pick-me-up, too.

Well, I wrote a long review just to find out it was the wrong Bees Knees. The other is a honey store in Albany.I was told that the owner of this store just does not want to buy an espresso machine, but I feel the ROI would be worth it. Nothing better that a great pastry and either wonderful coffee (cappuccino) or a great cup of tea.I bought oatmeal raisin cookies, old fashioned peanut butter cookies and a fresh baked white loaf. The bread was good, really liked that crust, but it almost tasted like bread machine bread. The oatmeal raisin came in first place.I will stop again on my way home from Pittsfield. Get there early, they sell out fast.This is not a sit and enjoy cafe, more like a grab and go.

I was in the hospital at St Peters for a week and wanted to give all of the doctors and nurses that were working the floor I was on a nice treat to say thank you. I ordered a ton of blueberry muffins and banana nut muffins. Julie was slammed but figured out a way to get the order completed. First off the muffins were amazing and the presentation was just top notch. The breakfast sandwiches are also the best I have ever had. If you have not stopped down you should give it a try!!!! You won’t be disappointed :)

My daughter visited the area and stopped at the bakery, brought home some muffins and delicious cinnamon buns, oh my goodness!!! we are almost 3 hours away but will be back!! Soooooooo delicious!!
