I have been eating Chinese food my entire life, this is the best Chinese food I have ever had! I have brought many friends there and they feel the same as I do. Nick, who is always there and very nice and helpful and easy-going. It’s always a pleasure to see him behind the counter always in a great mood. I highly recommend this place above all others.
Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options. They are all very delicious, the best I’ve ever had.
Parking: There is always plenty of parking on the side adjacent to Pulaski Road and Lark field Road.

I’ve tried it twice now and each time, the food has been underwhelming. This food isn’t cheap so I’ve been left very disappointed each time. My first time was the dry pot with shrimp, the flavors were mainly spices and although presented nicely, it wasn’t what I thought it would be and couldn’t finish it. My second time ordering I tried very basic shrimp w. Broccoli and the shrimp had a coating that wasn’t cooked all the way, there were smaller pieces all over the sauce and made it look unappetizing. The shrimp was so tough I couldn’t eat it. Luckily I ordered shrimp lo mein which tasted just like garlic and noodles. The fried rice was just greasy and tasted like salty old rice that has been fried. I know this is probably what it is but the flavors and textures were just not there both times I ordered. I guess I’m sticking to my usual place for now but was really excited for this place when it opened up. perhaps the meat and poultry options must be given more attention but the shrimp dishes were not good. I can get much better flavored and fresh tasting food down the block at half the cost.

My family and I were in the mood for takeout as we were discussing the Szechuan house came up in discussion but neither of us had tried it yet. So we decided to give it a go! The menu was fairly easy to understand, although I feel like if every food item had a picture ( some did on grubhub) it would be easier to understand what is what! The gentleman over the phone was so pleasant and made the ordering process efficient! I went and picked up the food with no problem at all, the place was very tidy and nice on the inside. I brought the food home and we were BLOWN away, the food was incredible and the portion sizes were perfect! Everyone loved their food and was equally impressed. We definitely will be going back and having them again.
Pictured below
The Yan Chow Fried rice: DELISH! It had a little bit of everything in it from mini shrimp, to actual egg, chicken, and vegetables.
Singapore mei fun; my father in law had this and thoroughly enjoyed it!
General Tao’s chicken: this was my dish and it was so so good! It wasn’t overly spicy and the sauce was yummy as well. The best part was the chicken was actually flavorful and moist! Not like your typical Chinese food chicken which is often dry. The breading was also not super thick which is a major bonus
Shredded chicken in black bean sauce: my brother had this and liked it as well!
Kung pao Chicken: my mother in law had this and she said it was probably one of the better dishes of kung pao chicken she had! She absolutely loved it!
Dry peppers chicken: this one we were going back and forth ordering because we weren’t sure what it was going to be but we are so glad we ordered it! The chicken kind of reminded me of popcorn chicken but lighter and spicer, definitely ordering again!
Doubled cooked pork: my husband had this dish and he loved every aspect of this dish, between the pork and everything else in the dish! He was thrilled with his food.
Last but not least, the wonton in chili oil!
This was amazing!! One would think that chili oil would be spicy but not at all! The sauce almost had a slight smoky sweet taste to it which was amazing! The wrapper also of the wontons was light which is different from your usual wontons! Everyone loved this as well!
Overall we loved this place and will order again! My only small suggestion is to have explanations in English under what everything is and what it has!

Excellent, mostly for takeout rather than dine in. We had the spring rolls, scallion pancake, dry pot tofu and scallion chicken. The portion were massive— definitely can feed two if you get a small rice too.
The spring rolls were pretty standard but everything else was awesome. I definitely recommend the dry pot— lots of good numbing chili action! Staff was super friendly. I’m very excited to try some other dishes on the menu.

Generally not good. Food was mediocre at best, extremely over priced and the beef and broccoli was weirdly wet and salty. Small portions for what you pay for and the sesame chicken undercooked. And they forgot my fortune cookies. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

So excited to have this place in our area! Tried for the first time today and loved the Wontons in chili oil (must have!), the Dan Dan noodles, and beef dry pot. Also, such pleasant and fast service. The guy who took our order and put it together is so lovely and just made the whole experience great. Thank you, we’ll be back soon!

I have been wanting to try this place and finally found my way over here for lunch and I can't wait to go back.
I had the string beans, chicken in garlic sauce and chili oil wontons. Everything tasted so authentic. Not that MSG chinese food you'd expect (thankfully cause it was not what i wanted!). It was authentic, flavorful, spicy, and just what I was hoping for. The wontons were so meaty and the chili oil was a nice garlic, sweet, spice flavor. The strings beans and minced pork brought me back to my childhood and the chicken in garlic sauce just pulled everything together.
The lunch specials were great. A little small when you look at it, but perfect when combined with the rice and soup. If you are more into the entree and less of a full meal, then go with the entree size instead of the lunch special. Lived up to all my hopes and we're looking forward to coming back to try something else.

I had driven by this place a few times and wanted to try it out. I was very impressed with how clean this place is and the guy who works the front is very friendly. The food was amazing, this was probably the best Chinese food I've had in awhile. The portion sizes are great and the food is very flavorful. Although the dinners don't come with rice you can ask for it on the side. Would highly recommend this place to friends and family!
Parking: I suggest parking the One Stop Convenience Store parking lot as it's right next store to where the resturant is.

Folks. This is your go-to place if you’re looking for a good Szechuan place in the area. Tbh I don’t have high expectation for Szechuan restaurants in American suburbs where most of the population is not East Asian or otherwise not familiar with spicy foods. This place is so so good!!! Every dish I tried so far was so tasty and rich in flavor.
- Bear in mind that dinner entrees do not come with any sides (rice or soup).
-Lunch has smaller portions but still enough for one person.
- The staff are very friendly. I always feel welcomed.
- The hall is very small and is mainly for takeouts I think.

Worse chinese food in the area. We ordered some noodles and fried rice. Everything was very plane without any flavor. Looks like they don’t marinate their protein and just dump hot sauce on shrimp/beef/pork. Not going back

Such authentic Chinese food so close to home. I only saw it after seeing pictures posted by others on Google Maps, and even searching for nearby Chinese food didn’t show up. I ordered cumin lamb and dry pot shrimps, which were very delicious! The sauce of Hongyou Chaoshou is very fragrant! The quantity is also worthy of the price, and the main purpose is to have a large quantity to satisfy the needs. I originally wanted to order some saliva chicken, but I just didn't have the chance to do so today. Now that I know there is such a Chinese restaurant near my home, I can just go to this restaurant if I don’t want to cook in the future. It is highly recommended (
