We catered from the restaurant (they recently changed ownership) for a group of ~20. The food was ready on time, it was hot, and delicious! Some of the highlights were the stuffed mushrooms, chicken franchese, mozzarella carozza, and baked ziti. Highly recommend if you need wonderful Italian food for a larger group!
Absolutely the Best Pasta since I've been on the East-End! TheHouse Ministrone was hearty and delicious!
Great food, Chef Gaetano is very welcoming. Everything is homemade, family style. We tried several different sauces, all were delicious in their own way. We had ordered two specials for the night- chicken scarpiello- very good. My favorite was the nonas gravy with sausage and meatballs and fresh pasta. Regular slice and grandma, fresh garlic knots- all very tasty. Best around for Italian IMO.
First time customer and was greeted with a warm welcome by a friendly man who seemed to maybe be the owner. He told us that you can except real homemade Italian & he was right. I even got a meatball sample and it was the best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend got scampi and said it was the best shrimp he’s ever had. This place is a hidden gem!
I ordered a pie half meatballs half pepperoni they gave the wrong pie women they brought it back in And as for 12 garlic knots the garlic knots look like leftovers and burnt to a crisp
We catered from Cucina for an event and all of our guests loved the food. Chef Gaitano and his staff opened the kitchen early on a Saturday to have our order ready for lunch. He even threw in a few extras and called me the next day to make sure everything went well - we couldn't thank them enough!
Delicious food. Great for deliver or eating in. The pizza has a great crust to it.
I've eaten here about 5 to 8 times the food is very good so is there sauce
Meatballs and eggplant rolitini are excellent, as are the baked clams. The kid serving us was very friendly and attentive.
Awful terrible towards good customers. Brought wrong order and I was forced to pay for it. Or give food back. Will never recommend Cucina.

I’m from Europe and this place had the most authentic food I’ve eaten in America so far!!!The owner was very friendly and the waiter and waitresses were very friendly as well! Big thumbs up!
Unfortunately, it was a HUGE disappointment for the entire family! Veal Marsala had NO marsala wine and the gravy was a thick, flour-tasting paste. Stuffed mushrooms were black, smelled awful, and doused in salt; they were rancid. Calamari were not cleaned correctly, had an off-odor and were tough. One of the dinners was somewhat decent, although it had more water as opposed to oil and lemon.
Great food, great service! Met the chef, very funny guy and a great cook!
I ordered chicken scapariello, described in menu as on the bone. What was served was a chicken cutlet cut into pieces. Tasty, but not what I wanted. Not going back.
I may have caught them on an off night. There was only one sad fellow drinking in the dining room, and close to closing time so I suspect the chef may have split, but the experience was terrible. The kid who took my order knew without checking my first two requests (veal chop / veal Milanese) were unavailable so I settled on chicken scarpariello which the menu describes as 'on the bone' and which the kid confirmed.Disappearing into the kitchen for +/- ten minutes (could he have been slapping this together ?) what emerged was an incorrectly sealed plate and cover which had already soaked through the bottom of the bag.So, service; not great.Onto the food. This was apparently a scraping together of leftovers which did not constitute anything like a scarpariello. A chicken breast in a lemon / egg batter (apparently a failed chicken Francaise), burnt sausage and pepperoni with strands of mozzarella (plucked off a pizza ?), wilted veggies, but curiously no peppers, and for the coup de grace, wait for it ..... f'ing CHICKEN BROTH.Not a total loss, it was gone in the morning so I guess the raccoons liked it.Anthony N.
