Anyone know why this place is now closed? They had good food and did a good business.
Permanently closed.
This is my favorite place this way byfar! Always so friendly, food is always awesome - thank you staff for always being on top of it!!
Seriously, why get pizza anywhere else in Rochester?? Closest to NYC-/New Haven-style pizza in this area!
Best plate Iβve had since I moved to ER! Very nice people, the young woman who took my order was very nurturing and she did a great job catering to every want and need of me and my special needs son. Will surely be back soon!

Last night was my first time ordering from JT's Pizza and Plates, but it will not be my last! I LOVED their Pesto Pete calzone! It was a huge calzone for $15.99, filled with pesto, sausage, onions, artichokes, mozzarella AND ricotta. It also came with two sides of pesto. I highly recommend it! I look forward to trying everything else on the menu!

Jts really does it right. Real melty cheese, smooth, not too over seasoned sauce and when you get to the crust it's like you ordered a side of garlic bread as a treat. I'm a pizza snob, this place is a go. Love it

Nestled in the heart of downtown East ROC, JTβs Pizza isn't just a pizza jointβit's an experience. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted by the harmonious strains of classical music that set the tone for an unforgettable experience.
With impeccable service and a sophisticated ambiance, it's the perfect spot for a memorable dining experience in the heart of downtown. ???

Customer service at pickup was warm and welcoming. Fresh toppings, great ratio of toppings to pizza size, we requested well done and crust was crispy, exactly as we like it. I tried both types of gluten free crust options (so nice to have choices) and both were phenomenal. Everything was delicious and we all were extremely satisfied. So glad I have leftovers to enjoy but will definitely order again!
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable toppings to choose from for pizzas.
Dietary restrictions: Multiple options for gluten free crust.

The pizza was very oily and soggy. We asked for utensils and napkins and didn't get them (only noticed after leaving the store). The Caesar salad was nice but the sauce was weird. It was dinner, but not a super enjoyable one.

Edit - Owner personally reached out and made it right. It seems, the experience below is not the norm. I will return to confirm. Leaving the original review below.
** Raw food**
Paid $120 for some mid pizza.
Ordered 3 mediums
Pesto
And 2 custom
Crust was over mixed and tough. No leopard spotting so temp is not hot enough in the oven either. Fix the crust and your pizza will be massively improved, as topping were good.
Only issue was consistency with one I ordered (bacon pep pineapple) and 3 of the slices had no bacon.
Boneless wings were decent. Medium sauce was good. Dry rub honey Sriracha was weird and not good..
Apple logs had raw dough .
Jalapeno poppers were great though.
Won't return for the lack of care and potentially getting sick. Price/quality is terrible.
