It's a homey place that feels like an old family-run diner. Because of the informal operation, be prepared for service not to be rushed (yet friendly) and food that's just solid sustinence.
I switched from the redwood diner to Ellie Mays . redwood is rude and they mess my order up . also redwood don't answer the phone for takeout anymore . Ellie Mays picks up almost immediately when I call . food is delicious and service is great in and out the door wonderful place to eat .
