Hotel was clean, rooms were spacious. Beautiful views from the property. Walls are thin, could hear guests next door and some noise from the road. Restaurant was closed during stay. Continental breakfast was lacking in options. Overall a good place to stay when visiting the ski resorts upstate.

The view is to DIE for, both pictures taken from my room! Make sure to book a “valley view”. With covid make sure to call local restaurants ahead of time for reservations. This was not my first trip to this hotel and certainly will not be my last

Nice "old "Inn, great views from rooms on the back side, very comfortable, "don't expect a modern place, kitchen is closed so no dinner but does serv a continental breakfast, loved the captain great guy!!!!

Such great views of the five states at this historic inn. Nice little continental breakfast in the morning. My man was super freaked out since they put us in room 12 and we later found out it may have been haunted. ??♀️ Nothing weird went down and we made it out alive!

Fabulous hotel! I'd stay here forever. We couldn't get over how quiet it was - the only noise was the occasional car. We literally sat and looked out the window and listened to the silence. It was heaven.

A hidden gem, even with the restaurant closed. The views are remarkable and the staff is friendly. Its close to multiple towns that have some great restaurants and amazing hiking trails. Loved the time I spent here.

Owner should clarify that contrary to photos shown the restaurant is closed permanently and there is no access to outdoor space in the rear such as the deck and gazebo with the nice view. You get your room and a parking space pretty much. Breakfast was very limited too.

Loved the Inn! Captain Wayne was great. We were there to celebrate our 20th anniversary and they added a wonderful touch with roses , wine and a card awaiting us in the room. The room hada fantastic view and the charm this Inn had and wonderful story behind it was great!

came here for the price, and found an amazing Motel, run by the always friendly captain. Family friendly and 9 min drive from Wyndham. Would definitely come back. Be sure to ask for a Valley side room if they have it. View is spectacular.

I waited 10 years since my last visit- i will wait at least 10 more. It started with bad wine then Cold apps that had to go back 2x and still came out cold. Soggy flatbread that felt like it was microwaved. And we were made to feel like it was our problem— i guess cold food is acceptable there. We left after apps to go to our usual restaurants.

Due to covid guidelines we had small wedding. Everything was outstanding, the staff was friendly and prime rib was amazing. Let's not forget the absolutely beautiful fall views. It was truly a perfect day and meal.
