Piper's has been in town for years, great burgers and all around pub fare. It does get a bit crowded and there's no take out, other than that, good service and nice atmosphere.
I went there recently on a Sunday after 9:00 pm with my wife and daughter. Not much of a crowd because of the time we got there. Quick service. We all got burgers. The burgers were rockin'. Also good home made onion rings.

Another New York gem. Loved it bar setting again, family and friend orientated. Went 3xs while in New York. Food is on point! The first time I got their special 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and corn very big took some food home. Second time, french onion soup and Eastchester burger with fries. Yummy and third time shared zucchini fries and had the famous burger salad, Eastchester burger on salad with vingarette.
