I got the meatloaf with potato salad and Mac and cheese. An order of pretzels as well. Can’t say I thought the potato salad was all that good, seemed to lack serious flavor, however, the rest of the food was fantastic!I will definitely come back again when staying in the area.

First time there, got the ribs, salad and french onion soup. Ribs were not good at all, they must have soaked them in liquid smoke for 2 days, so smokey we couldn't eat them. give them a 1 rating. French onion soup I would give a 9 rating, Salad was good give it a 9. Owner stopped by our table and asked how the food was told her we couldn't eat the ribs because they tasted so smokey, she replied yes I don't really care for them either. Waitress served our food and never came back until it was time for the bill, had to go to bar to get my own drinks, waitress did ask at time of billing how food was and we replied that the ribs were horrible, her reply was were having problems with our smoker. Never offered any compensation or could i get you something else. Wont be any return trips here,

Cool place for food or drinks or both. Really liked their take on Beef on Weck. Texas twinkies were a pleasant suprise. Plenty of menu options.

This is one of our favorite places. Normally never have a bad meal. Unfurtunately , they missed the mark this time. We waited over an hour for food even though we were here before the crowd rolled in. The beer battered fish fry was good, the broiled fish was over done and dry, they forgot the fries with the meal, and was not even offered to take it off the bill. Normally we have no issue whwn here. Was told that it was a different chef that was in the kitchen. Have to say that ot was not too loud with having a full bar.

We waited more than an hour for our food. The waitress must have been new because she didn’t return and we had to get another drink from the bar ourselves. We ordered French fries and they never came out and they still tried to add them to the bill.Just a terrible all around experience. I’m sorry but I won’t be back.

Came here on a Wednesday evening around 6:00 pm and the place seemed busy, but not too packed. We were promptly seated and our drink orders were taken. That's about where the good ends. The Service: After our initial drink orders were brought over, our waitress took our food order, but she was no where to be found. When myself and someone with my party had finished our drinks, we waited for approximately 30-40 minutes for our waitress to come back to our table for refills, but that time never came. Our waitress only returned after I left my table and walked up to the bar to order 2 drinks myself. After waiting approximately another 45 minutes (again without a check in for refills by our waitress), our food was delivered to the table only after we complained about the approximately 90 minute wait, and we asked to pay for our drinks and leave. Before bringing us our check for the drinks, our waitress informed us that our food would be coming "right out", so we figured we might as well stay and try the food...we should have just left. The Food: Our party ordered a total of 40 smoked wings, extra crispy and an order of fries, nothing too complex. After our waitress brings out our wings, she relays to us that our fries would be right out. The fries never made it to the table, and they tried to charge us for them anyways. The wings were probably some of the worst I've had in the WNY area to date. Despite being "right out" the wings were not hot at all, not a deal breaker, but I'd prefer if my food was hot when it arrived to the table. The smoke flavor was decent, but weren't anything special, I've made wings with better smoke flavor at home. We tried the hot sauce and the house BBQ sauce on our wings, I've had way better sauces at other establishments, and the sauce oddly did not coat the wings, but rather sat at the bottom of the plastic trays they delivered the wings on. The wings were also not in the slightest bit crispy, which just puts the icing on this evening. The Ambiance: Upon walking into the bar it seemed like a local dive bar with all of the staples, TV playing Wheel of Fortune, guys in camouflage sitting at the bar, and neon signs for just about every beer brand imaginable. The line of beer taps around the wall was also pretty neat. The only thing missing was music. For a bar with "country night", it was odd that absolutely no music was playing. Aside from that, the tables were spacious and not too cramped together. Needless to say, despite the cool dive bar ambiance, the service and food quality of this place put it on my list of places to never visit again.

Liked the atmosphere but it was super busy the night I went and had 1 bartender. She was great and worked her butt off! She deserves an 11 out of 10!

First time here and definitely not the last. I happened on them via a quick internet search and was excited to see BBQ on the menu. Couldn’t make a decision so we ordered a little bit of everything (aka Oscars Big Lid)… it fantastic! Best BBQ I’ve had in a while! Kudos to the Chef and staff of East Eden Tavern!Parking: Park around back
