Excellent vibe, phenomenal cocktails. no big corporate names behind the bar, all liquors are sourced from small batch distilleries that the owners have personally visited and vetted. Highly recommend, food was excellent as well.

We love this little gem, it has such a warm and cozy atmosphere. The owners Marcus and Jamie are SERIOUS about their food and drinks. Lots of fresh local ingredients and an extensive wine & beverage list with many unique bottles. Always fun to chat about the menu with the owners and staff, and get their recos. Our favorite is to grab a seat at the bar. I'll typically order my favorite specialty whiskey from Cooper's Daughters and the hummus plate as I'm vegan (they have lots of other vegan options too). My boyfriend, who is the opposite of vegan, usually gets the burger which he raves about...and he is picky. Any night is a good night to go, but on Mondays when everywhere else is dead, this place actually has a vibe going. Also, consider this place for your bday, they have a free dish for the birthday boy/girl. My boyfriend was super happy to get a free steak on his birthday!

**Mixed Experience – Hoping It Was an Off Night** Visited on 7/24. We left feeling both relieved and disappointed. Relieved that we didn’t splurge on the higher-priced entrees, but disappointed that what’s advertised as the “best burger in town” fell flat.
The pork sliders were tasty and well-prepared — definitely the highlight of the meal. My wife’s fig pizza, however, was a letdown. The figs were burnt to the point of being inedible, and when we brought it up with our server, we were told it was part of the caramelization process. Unfortunately, these were more rock-hard than caramelized. That said, the crust and toppings (cheese and bacon) were flavorful, though the large pile of arugula on top didn’t quite work and felt out of place.
As for the burger — it was dry and overcooked, with the bacon barely noticeable and a tough shallot slice that didn’t add much.
On the bright side, the live music was enjoyable and the bar had a nice atmosphere. It’s possible we caught the kitchen on a rough night, as we noticed two other tables also sent food back.
In the end, for the price point, the food quality just didn’t deliver. A local passerby even mentioned she avoids the place, though admitted it’s the better of the two nearby spots.
We won’t be rushing back, but hope this was just an off evening.

I was impressed by every detail from the salt shakers to the sourcing of the food to the owners putting their names on the receipt. I haven’t been to enough Michelin restaurants to know how close this would be but it’s gotta be close. If you’re looking for heart, soul and care in a restaurant experience, I think you can find it here.
