Leaves room to be desired :/ Decent food, friendly staff, but not sure about the quality.
The pear salad was the stand out. I also had the pork sliders, which were a bit too fatty for me, the ribeye was good, but the burger I didn’t think was freshly made (maybe I’m wrong). Not sure if the coleslaw was freshly made.
Food is amazing and the bar selection is extensive. I definitely recommend it as a date spot.
My brother and I come every year in June for his birthday. We started coming when we lived in Westchester county. A long ride. We now live in Connecticut. An even longer ride, but it’s so worth it. The food is always delicious, the wait staff are always polite and friendly. We’ll be back next year!
Previous visits were always wonderful, but tonight was mediocre.
We stopped by for after dinner dessert and coffee. Restaurant staff were slammed with getting customers out in time for the 8pm show at Shadowlands.
On the positive side, the staff were up front that our table service would be limited. On the negative side, they showed their stress.
We ordered the Dark Chocolate Fudge Torte and the Wild Maine Blueberry Crisp Ala Mode. Both were disappointing.
We were told the Blueberry Crisp would be tart. It wasn't. Overpoweringly sweet. As for the Fudge Torte, it wasn't anything special. No nuance ... decadently rich.
My husband Hank and I have dined at this charming farm-to-table restaurant more times than we can count and every visit is a wonderful experience. We’ve probably tried everything on the menu—twice—and it’s all been exceptional. From the vibrant seasonal vegetables to the perfectly cooked meats and seafood, every dish is incredibly fresh, full of flavor and clearly made with love and intention.
Owners Marcus and Jamie go out of their way to make each guest feel like family, adding a personal touch that truly sets this place apart. William, our go-to waiter, is absolutely amazing— warm, attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the menu.
What makes this place even more special is the heart behind it. During the holiday season, Marcus and Jamie run a community soup kitchen, generously serving warm meals to those in need. Their kindness and commitment to giving back reflect the same care they put into every dish.
The combination of outstanding service, delicious food and genuine generosity makes this restaurant a must-visit. You can truly taste the difference when ingredients come straight from the farm. Every meal leaves you feeling nourished and appreciated. Highly recommended!
What a marvelous night. The service was 5 star!!! Skylar, Ethan, Brian and William all were absolutely amazing. So inviting !!! The kitchen staff i gave my thanks to because my salmon dish was 10 star! I just had to tell them how amazing there cooking skills were. I got a sweet potatoes soup to go so I can enjoy it tomorrow for lunch. We will definitely be making this our once a month th outing we live In pine bush so over the mountain we will go! Best birthday dinner I could have asked for.!!!!
Came back again and food was the BOMB . Coleslaw was out of this world. Service was excellent
An expensive disaster. Arrived at our pre-booked table at 6pm for a relaxed meal before Shadowland at 8pm. By 7:20, no food (not even appetizers) had been served to us. By 7:50 our waiter, effectively abandoned us, leaving a waitress to put my scalding 'Hot Pot' into a doggie bag explaining they had 'lost our ticket'. Despite the debacle, no comp was offered of any type, barely an apology. What should have been a lovely evening, was ruined.

My husband and I came in on a Sunday night with no reservation, for our wedding anniversary. The ambience is adorable, and romantic simultaneously. Absolutely beautiful, historic with soft lighting. Comfortable, ample seating. Our waitress, Amy, could not have done a better job. She was intensely attentive, patient, quick and answered any/all questions. The food was INSANELY GREAT. Full disclosure, it was an expensive meal (to me), since we ordered 2 appetizers and a meal. We ordered the wings, fig & bacon pizza and the burger. We also each ordered a dessert, the affogato and tiramisu. We had a lot of leftovers. I can't even rank the foods, they were all just so memorable. I feel like we were treated like celebrities, like VIP, royalty. Truly outstanding experience in every which way. I'm excited to return! One of the best restaurants in ALL of NY!!!!

We found this cute restaurant on a walk through downtown Ellenville. Last night we stopped by get two seats at the bar but there were none. Our lovely server Skyler was able to sit us right away!!! We ordered the mussels appetizer and shared the Asian Chicken main course and it was all delicious. Skyler was wonderful, from explaining all the craft spirits they have to talking up the food. If we find ourselves here again we will be back for sure!!!
