I used to get wonton soup in wurtsboro until recently bc the last time it was sooo salty. Tried it here and it was very good 👍 I'm from the city where I'm spoiled and know what great food tastes like. I will try other items next time.

Found a hard piece of metal in the food. Called to let them know and see what can be done, the lady at first seemed like she didn’t understand but then changed to “I give you discount next time.” No offer to remake or refund. Seems like this wasn’t the first time based on how she handled it. Never eating there again.

The food was all fresh. They were extremely generous with the portions of food for the cost. I’d share a photo but I ate it all too fast.

Staff were very courteous and polite too.

Great family owned Chinese Restaurant

All the food I've had is fresh and the service has been amazing. I've tried their dumplings, chicken, beef with broccoli, and other dishes, nothing has been disappointing all of it has met my expectations or succeeded it. Good place to eat, older reviews are from people who complain over anything

China House, not a China Home

I was skeptical of this place from the reviews, so I had to share mine. Chinese places really can't be rated on the same scale as other restaurants, but versus each other. This was shockingly hands down some of the best Chinese I've had north of the city. It's easy to assume they all use the same exact suppliers, but this place had different and unique items. The spring rolls were the best I've ever had anywhere. The crab rangoons were star shaped, not the triangles. Everything was fried to crispy perfection. All of the stir-fry's were well portioned and mixed and had great flavor. They didn't forget any items, which seems to happen at almost every Chinese restaurant these days. It was ready quickly, it was hot, it was packed neatly in a box instead of a bag so I could see everything was there. A lot of these reviews mention how rude they are, but I did not find that to be the case at all. Both the woman at the front and the cook said hello and thanked me. Not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from or if they merely stepped up their game, but they deserve 5 stars. Top notch Chinese food.

Avoid this place even if you are starving! Bad attitude terrible repeat terrible food ( lacking taste, freshness and ingredients) failed to pack all the items bought and paid for. Do yourself a big favor and skip China House .

The lady is very nasty with her mouth, poor customer service, she does not understand English and provide wrong orders and on top of that if you go back to claim your correct order she yells and disrespect the customers... very bad place to eat, go to Kerhonson chinese the services is excellent and the owners are very sweet people.

The lo mein is SO good without being oily. And dumplings are fluffy, crab rangoons are lightly fried too! Condiments are in fair proportion to food. Pricing is fair. 2 people = $23 (with tax included here). And we had a 10 min wait time for the food! They deserve more 5 star ratings. It's a good place!

I'm not a local, but I called in late for a pickup and arrived 10 minutes after closing. When I arrived, the cook was already in his car, ready to leave, and asked me if I was the one who called in for the pickup. I said yes. He exited his vehicle and didn't hesitate to make my food. I felt very fortunate not only because it was the only place to get food but also because my family and I drove here for three hours straight without food.

Needless to say, the food was delicious, and I promised to come back the next day.

China House saved the night.

The food is good however I haven’t been there in a few years because they were very stingy with condiment packets. As one customer said 1 packet of duck sauce for entire meal. When I asked for a couple more the server was very annoyed and made me feel uncomfortable. So I go else where.
