What a wonderful hidden gem. Great, authentic Italian food from a set of recipes handed down to the lovely owner, through his sicilian grandmother. Ask him about his family story and look at the framed pictures of sicily on the walls. This is the real thing - not some pretend Italian restaurant. And, the prices are far too low. Bring your own alcohol and they close at 9pm.

I ordered the mixed grill. OMFGG. I don't think that I will ever order another mixed grill from anywhere else, as it will only be a massive plate of disappointment. Great place, wonderful staff. If I lived locally I would eat there daily. The only reason to visit Denton. I will return as soon as I can. Then again, it's Sunday, a roast dinner sounds like a plan. I'm booking a table as soon as they open.

Omg just been in and I have a new favourite. Ordered the chicken burger, and daughter ordered bacon cheese burger. they came on their own made buns so soft and delicious. The chicken and beef where so succulent, cooked to what I thought was perfection They came out by the young lady that made them. Definitely my new favourite. Staff were so polite especially with the children.

OK so 5 of us went for brekie at 11 25 and got served at 12.20?? Although food was hot and nice, we wasn't asked about allergies and my toast came buttered. I would have preferred dry and buttered myself. The bacon was slightly smoked which I don't like..and tomatoes were tinned which I think they should have said. The chef was picking food off the tray prepared for Sunday dinner..not really a great advertisement. When we went to pay we asked to pay by cash and card and we had to do one or the other, never had that before. It has a 2 because the food when arrived was hot , but not what we expected at all...Will not return

At home, I eat European-style bakery bread every day so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find good bread while vacationing in Sarasota. Fortunately, I found this wonderful bakery before we arrived and we went the first morning for the multigrain bread. Delicious! We also had a jelly donut, a spinach and ricotta pastry, and pretzels. All were excellent. While we were in Sarasota we visited a friend who grew up in Austria and we brought Apfelstrudel for dessert. He loved it and he is picky about authenticity of German/Austrian food. They have a few tables inside and two tables outside. Our dog also enjoyed the dog treats that they gave her. People who work here are very friendly. We didn't try everything, but I would bet that all of it is excellent!

Stopped by after arriving at Sarasota Airport. Delightful bakery with an amazing array of fresh baked goods, both sweet and savory. Terrific service and fair prices. We will be back!

Tiny little bakery in a strip mall right outside the airport, but MAN! This was such a phenomenal bakery with savory and sweet pastries, breads, coffees and Waffle Wedensday. 7 tables inside, seats outside, sweet staff. Just a fabulous place! Highly recommended!

Delicious European treats, both savory and sweet, coffee was quite large and for 3 Linzers and 2 very generous cups of coffee, I only paid $8.45 . sad I leave about 2 hrs from it. Family owned, very clean and pleasant.

Just got off the plane and there was the food of my people had an iced German coffee - very nice and if I didn't have to be gluten free I would have gone nuts on all those mouth watering baked goods. It was like being in my great grandmother's kitchen, but up a notch. Parking is easy, private lot and easy to get to especially you have a craving right off the plane.

I love this place!! And I love Mama G. This was one of the first places I discovered after moving to Sarasota. I like to say their pastries are grownup pastries. They are beautiful and delish. Not crazy over the top sugary sweet nonsense. Just beautiful, well made, perfectly sized treats. And the croissants -- yes please. Thank you Mama G!

Went in for a breakfast sandwich around 1 or 2 pm and they were all out....Seems it goes by until they last...That's ok the lady who I think was the owner was friendly and there was still a large assortment of bakery items....I got a dark roast coffee which was very smooth and drinkable....I also got a chocolate croissant and a piece of tiramisu - both were ok.
