What a great place. Used to be one of my favorites but i'm an old time type a guy that loves shopping local but likes to stick to certain staples thatwonderful little nook and cranny spots of the hudson valley. Unfortunately , we'll still contribute from time to time , but because of the inconsistency of food really makes it hard to be a consistent patron... Hope this helps in a peaceful day...

My girlfriend and came I here for a late lunch on Sunday. I ordered a Cauliflower pita with hummus; my partner tried to order a salad, but they had no salads in stock (?). Staff offered her a refrigerated salad with sad, pale-looking chicken but out of caution she declined.
When my pita arrived, I discovered that it was literally $2 of non-organic cauliflower, no hummus, stuffed inside what looked like a store-bought pita bread. I paid over $12 for this.
Also, as far as I can tell, they are not halal.

The 2020 census lists less than 5000 people living in the village of Ellenville. I think a lot of the local populace may frequent this bougie little cafe. I know it gets traffic from people exploring the area as well. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese on a ciabatta. Excellent. I also had one of best cortados in recent memory. Most excellent. BEC on ciabatta. Cortado. Bougie.

A great cafe! They have really good coffees, but not a lot of syrup flavors if you like a flavored latte. Their matcha is also pretty good. The food is a bit pricey, but usually worth it because it tastes great and their baked goods are always a good choice for a quick bite. Also, I love that you can buy local goods here! So many fun things to look at whenever you go!

I love this place and I’m glad my vacation house is so close by! I always come here whenever I’m up here with hubby and friends. Their drinks are well-made. Highly recommended.

What a great place! Stopped in there today for the first time, and was really impressed by their delicious sandwiches (we had the Sabich and the Broccoli Rabe), cookies and coffee. Really pleasant vibe, too — good music, friendly staff and lotsa comfortable places to sit. Will definitely return soon!
