The absolute best paella we’ve ever had!!! Family owned business too, everyone was amazing. Highly recommend the empanadas as well! We can’t wait to come back!

Had a great dinner. Luis was awesome. Had some great conversations with him and enjoyed a wonderful dinner after a day of hiking.

Great tapas & cocktails.
Always a favorite when attending the Shadowland theater. Either for a meal before or drinks after a show.

The best of Ellenville. Marbella never disappoints and does not compromise on quality. Their burger might be the best I’ve ever had and the seafood paella is delightful! 5 stars all round.

They were out of a lot of menu items for the night when I arrived at about 830. But the bartender was friendly and quick, the food I did ultimately get after some false starts was tasty. A little pricey for the portion sizes, but not hateful.

Worst experience ever. Went there before the show in the next door theater. After 40 min. of waiting in an empty restaurant for 3 tapas and a waiter's lectures on how the tapas served, we dared to remind him that we are late for the show and only had wine served. In respond, the bartender announced that our order is canceled and we won't get anything else. Beware!
Added to review after receiving the owner's response:
Now, they want to be paid for declining service and not serving the food ordered. No surprise, the place was empty before the show opening in the theater next door. They taught us a lesson and we are passing it to others visiting the area: beware, these place is going to ruin your evening!

Nice spot. But a glass of sangria is some wine and fruit in it. So you pay $16 for a third of a glass of table wine with cut up fruit and ice. Not my idea of a good time. Better spent towards a meal at any other place on the main strip. Or one better- buy a bottle of wine and picnic in the good spring weather coming.

The recently updated menu is so good! We have always loved the food and the vibe inside but this new menu is especially excellent. We love the steak options, their specials, pastas, shishito peppers, melted cheese board (never had it anywhere else), and the chorizo tapas. Also they just got their liquor license which is awesome! One of the best spots locally for sure.

There’s nothing bad to say about this place. The fried chicken sandwich was mediocre, cocktails were okay, I didn’t quite understand the theme. It was like medieval Europe threw up all over the place but classical piano was playing on a huge TV. Everything was pretty pricy too. It’s just not for me. I’ve been to many speakeasy style and craft cocktail bars and found at least their cocktails and atmosphere to be exciting. I probably won’t come back, but not for any specific reason, it’s just not the right fit for me.

We were so surprised at the dining options in Ellenville, not having been here for over 10 years. Marbella stuck out as an Intriguing with dark walls and a highly entertaining decor filled with art and eclectic items that contributed to the chill feel of the place. We were greeted by Luis, the owner, and he became our go to person for the rest of the evening. His counsel on wine was spot on. Both I and my wife thought the wine selected by him was outstanding. We then moved to the tapas, starting off with Trio of Lamb and the Empanadas (which I without hesitation would suggest were the best I have ever had). We then split a Smashed Burger which had two patties on 1 bun and were delicious. Throughout the evening Luis insisted on handling the two of us personally for which we were extremely grateful. Our only regret was that after the above menu items we picked, we did not have enough room to continue through the menu. Oh well, next time, then the time after than.. In fact Luis promised we would get together at the restaurant to sing Spanish songs and play guitars! Every once in a while, if you travel enough, you will come across a real gem in an area not know for its culinary offerings. Luis's Marbella is just such a gem. Best in town for sure. Thanks Luis and look forward to seeing you soon

Such a cool atmosphere. Everything we ordered was perfect. Food is paced perfectly. Not rushed. Refined, delicious menu. Just love this place.
