The hardest thing to do in a food business is to acquire customers. Wilson’s has the best subs around but the problem is they close way way way way way too early. What sub or food business closes shortly after noon??? Poor poor poor management

I'm amazed at some of the sandwiches I've had at this deli. The Italian sub wonderful intense flavor and thick. The chicken cutlets are juicy and made to order. My favorite is the chicken cordon bleu with honey mustard. My co-workers love the hot lunch on the run they have waiting. Plus soup 🤤 on those days that feel like a soup day. I get carried away by the salad setup that gets weighed up. I'm almost always more than I intended to pay. My fault I can't stop after the chicken pasta mix can't get a enough 😁

Still, after 50+years this establishment has been a goddess-send for folks living up on Ulster Heights Road. I was grateful between June 13- June 16 when revisiting my childhood home, this place still exists. Food is staple items one needs to survive, canned and boxed. Service is impeccable but why on a hot Saturday afternoon by 3 is the place closed ? Anyway, inexpensive and available one can basically survive from food and beverages purchased here.

Been going to Wilson's since the 80s. They are hands down the best for sandwiches and salads. Try their mushrooms, out of this world, or their authentic German potato salad. Friendly and down home. Your kinda place.
