It's been a few years since my wife and I last visited the Elicottville location back in April 2022 and we are long overdue for another. The food here is AMAZING, the service excellent! The beers and spirits are made in house and are some of the best that WNY has to offer. The Bacon tomato jam burger is so good I've had it twice, my wife had the three little pigs flatbread pizza which was excellent. On a previous visit one of our friends had the Monte Christo which is the best I have ever tasted! The blueberry bread and dipping sauce is UNBELIEVEBLE.
I recommend the cheese curds and the Bavarian pretzels as appetizers or a snack with cocktails as well.
I like the Little Green Men IPA and the Sponge Bomb , my wife likes the Better Red and Fat Porter. On this visit I ordered a flight of whiskey's and bourbon and my wife had a Blue Balls vodka and cranberry, we purchased a bottle of the bourbon and and a growler of the porter. I highly recommend stopping by the Ellicotville location. We always stop there for a meal and beverages when going to Ellicottvile, Allegheny state park or the Seneca Allegeny casino.
Horrible drink. Food took an hour. Will not return.
100% ask for an itemized bill. We had to ask and they said they couldn't after running the card. Finally got it and they charged us $32 more on our bill and our other bill was overcharged by $22. Waitress claimed system error. Contacted the establishment and crickets. Be very careful of getting scammed.
We stopped for lunch, service was slow because of short staff but the wait was worth, once we ordered our food came out very quick, the food was delicious, we loved Mexican street corn friend, we ordered two order of it..
I only take the time to leave bad reviews when it’s one bad thing after another with no real reconciliation. Me and 3 others picked this place because there was no wait, it didn’t seem too full and lots of the tables seemed to be wrapping up. Not to mention an employee (or the owner🤷♀️) was standing outside and told us they “aren’t busy at all” while we were considering options. We ordered 1 pretzel app, one burger, one chicken sandwich and one order of boneless wings (4 items). They did not mention that it would take an hour for us to get our meals despite 50% of the tables being cleared out shortly after we got there. We were not provided updates at all throughout and we hardly were checked up on throughout the hour and a half total we were there. We ran out of drinks but were not asked about needing more and unfortunately since we were not visited by the server we didn’t get a chance to ask for more. My uncle asked for another lemonade when we got our pretzel appetizer 40 mins in. That drink didn’t come until we asked the manager if she could bring it to us 15 minutes later since our server didn’t get around to it. Not to mention the boneless wings (which did taste good at least) were by no means worth 18 dollars. They were room temp chicken nuggets, I’d fairly pay 13 before tax. It’s not like you get a side with them. The prices in general were HIGH. Ultimately after we mentioned to our server 50 mins in that we would like to know how much longer our food would be, she hardly talked to us, didnt even ask if all our empty waters needed refills. There were multiple times where the server was seen standing at the bar chatting. That’s why we decided to speak with the manager also because our food which was “gonna be out in 5” was still not out. The dirty app plates/ empty cups werent cleared either. We had to move them to an empty table when we got our food. The solution to all of the lack of communication, long wait, and lack of service was that we didn’t pay for the lemonade, and there would be a coaching conversation on communication.
I did customer service and this is below the bar I set for myself when I showed up each day. Transparent communication and checking up on your customers makes all the difference. It’s fall fest and I guess they had an event upstairs but at no point was it communicated that they were 40 mins behind in the kitchen. We in fact were told that they were not busy at all. That’s a service issue, not a customer issue.
Stopped in during the Fall Festival. so glad we did! Jordan and Lexi made us feel like VIPs!! Specialty Burgers, Sweet Potato Fries, O-Rings were great and the Coconut Diablos put the exclamation points on the experience!
Lisa was absolutely phenomenal! Her service was warm, attentive, and made the whole evening feel special. The food was delicious, and everything came out perfectly. Between the amazing dishes and Lisa’s outstanding hospitality, it truly was a perfect night. Can’t wait to come back!
Drinks were great. Food was awesome. Brittany is the best! Our only complaint is that they don't have stickers that we can buy to show off our visit. This is a must stop if you are in the Ellicottville area.
Order the beef on Weck what I got was beef on hamburger bun with salt on top other than that the beef was good
Well we tried it. We seem to wait forever for our food. And then the food was not that great. Staff were friendly and apologetic. But we won’t be returning.

I am from lockport my first time going to steel bound was a great experience the staff was amazing my burger was one of the most tasty burgers I have had in a long time whoever made my burger they deserve a raise I would 💯 come back the beer was really smooth and good
Our car group has often stopped at Steelbound on our way home from car shows. Very disappointed with the menu. $20 for a hamburger & stale chips! All sandwiches were at least $20 and other selections were higher! I don't think there was a single meal less! Our waitress was slow and we waited a long time for our checks, and then she didn't come back to take our money! Too busy talking with the other waitress. There were very few people in there, so it wasn't because they were too busy. Food was only mediocre. They have definitely gone down hill. We all agreed we will not be going back!
We have been to Steelbound (just on the outside of town across from Tom Horton's /! Crosby's) many times and have enjoyed our experience. There is a patio as well as multiple level seating for busier times. They also have an onsite distillery and the blueberry is delicious. They have award winning sauces for the wings / tenders. Service is always efficient.
We were passing by on our way home to PA from visiting Niagra Falls and came across Steelbound. The food was excellent and the service even better. My wife had the Haddock and said it was delicious and the Beef on Weck was the best sandwich I've had in a long time.
A little pricey but very good
