“This is a great complement to the usual bars and grills around town. I would definitely go back for date night. Decent amount of vegetarian options on the menu. The cauliflower was solid, as was the hummus. Mushroom pizza was good. Would definitely return.”

“This is the lodge I prefer of the lodges offered at Holiday Valley. I like the bar area upstairs, but one bartender might lead to a little of a wait. Great bartenders when they get to you.You can get you lift ticket here.Plenty of room to sit and eat.Fire places on the main floor and upstairs.There is a store to purchase clothing and ski accessories.The food is fine for quick finger and American style food , ie burgers, fingers, fries, and pizza.”

“My girlfriend and I stopped in here after visiting a few other spots on the street and not being greeted promptly. Frank greeted us immediately and his service was the best we have received here. He is funny and and very knowledgeable about all of his products. We ordered a calzone with prosciutto, a persona pepperoni pizza, and some Black Bird hard ciders, all of which was positively delicious. Frank talked to us the whole time and the rest of his staff were very genuine and sweet. There's a sign above the bar which reads "enter as strangers, leave as friends" and that's exactly how we felt by the end of our experience here. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I definitely would. Thanks Frank!”

“I selected this place due to the high reviews. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff were very attentive. The place was clean and welcoming. Sadly we both ordered the seafood boil. It is the first time I have ever added salt to a meal when dining out. Not a huge fan of salt, but there was little flavor. Hoping this was just a fluke by what we ordered. Also odd for an Italian restaurant not to offer bread or homemade pasta. Will keep a decent rating in case it was that particular dish.”

“We loved it here. We went to watch The Leafs play The Ducks. Our bar tender Dawn was lovely and a chap called Conner was in charge of music. There was a roaring log fire in the middle of the bar. Mdigans is much bigger than we thought it was with a bar upstairs. There were people coming in and eating but we did not. I always judge a place by the washrooms which were spotless. Would we go again? YOU BET”

“Anytime we come to Ellicottville, a stop at Ellicottville Brewing Company is an absolute must! The best restaurant in town, by a wide margin. Food is outstanding, beers are outstanding, service is outstanding. The management at this place knows what they are doing. This place is a can't miss.”

“It’s a busy area. We got accommodated quickly and the waitress was on point. The menu was bare, mainly pizza and wings type of place. We got pizza and wings. Wing sauce was generic and pizza was very dry.”

“This gem ? in the city of Ellicottville, NY has the best of entertainment and food. The comfort food is delicious and I have to highly recommend the wings (garlic parm are the ?). The evenings entertainment was a live country band called Hazard County that put on a hell of a show. When I come back to the ski resort, I'll be stopping in for more food and fun.”

“Visited on Feb 25, 2024 at 2:30. It was very busy at the time we walked in with 3 sets of customers in front of us. The employee behind the counter (Ayla) was the only one working and she was really fast and pleasant. She had great customer service skills and was very aware of how busy it was, apologizing for the wait. She really did an excellent job under the circumstances and should be recognized for doing so. “I have been a loyal customer to EBC for years, but especially to the taqueria. I just love this place. The food is delicious, servers are pleasant, and I like the atmosphere. But... really disappointed in how it has changed. I believe the menu has changed twice in less than a year now and some of my favs are gone (pear passion fruit marg and annatto white fish specifically!). Prices have gone up which is perfectly understandable, but really bummed you can't mix and match tacos anymore. That was the best feature!”

“Pricey, but then there was absolutely nothing to even quibble about. The main entries were perfect, and the deserts were a perfect ending. The service was very friendly... not too intrusive and not at all elusive.
